Everyone always wonders, "What is Victoria's Secret?" Unfortunately, I do not know her secret, but I do know your Victoria's Secret addiction is not a secret if you are anything like me. If you are a coupon queen and can walk out of Victoria's Secret with a smile on your face and money left in your bank account, you already have proven your addiction is real. However, there are many ways to prove your addiction is NOT a secret. Grab your wings, Angel and read on!
1. You can't resist going in the store.
Whenever you make a make a trip to the mall or even the outlets and you see that beautiful pink sign you have no choice but to enter. It’s basically a sign reading “Heaven”. Although you enter with caution you WILL be leaving with a purchases you will NOT regret.
2. You can never have too much underwear.
Your pantie drawer is overflowing but every time there is a seven for $27 sale you know you can find some room to fit in your newly purchased favorites. You can never have too many and with new styles coming out monthly, your options are endless.
3. You get way too excited over coupons.
Nothing makes you happier than getting coupons in the mail. Who doesn’t love a free pantie with any purchase and $10 off a bra? Although the fine print says no combining multiple offers, you and I both know how to work the system.
4. So many dogs.
You have over 50 dogs. No not real dogs, PINK dogs. They make the best pets and come in the coolest of patterns. Scoring one free with a Victoria Secret purchase is like hitting the jack pot. These cute pocket-size pooches are a girl’s best friend.
5. You love Pink Friday.
The phrase “Black Friday” means nothing because the day after Thanksgiving is really “Pink Friday”. No matter how long the line is, how hot the store is and how crazy the girls can be, we all know that anything you can get your hands on it SO worth it!
6. You are easy to get gifts for.
When the holidays come around, whether it be Christmas or your birthday, no one asks you what you want. They already know you are going to send them straight to Victoria’s Secret because no, you don’t have EVERYTHING from there and yes you just HAVE to have it.
7. So. Many. Yoga Pants.
You own about 100 pairs of Victoria’s Secret yoga pants, but the real secret is you have NEVER done yoga wearing them. They are typically just your “bum day” go to and your “bum boosters”. One thing we can all agree on is they are the most comfortable article of clothing you own!
8. You have a stash of pink bags.
Somewhere in your house is a stack of pink and black bags with ribbon handles. This stash may be in your closet or under your bed but each one is a reminder of a worthwhile shopping experience and can be used for many other purposes.
9. The VS Fashion Show is a must watch.
One night out of the year you put aside your insecurities and turn on CBS to watch your favorite Angels strut down the runway next to your favorite performers. Taylor Swift is just one of many artists that has also taken on the runway.
10. You long to become an Angel.
Your dream job is to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel. You cannot help but wish you were one of them, but unless you can grow enough to reach the 5’9" height requirement, you can just keep dreaming.
