Michael Scott is a spirit animal like no other. Connecting with him on a spiritual level can teach you many things you may have not known about yourself to begin with. Here a few moments brought to us be The Office, featuring Michael Scott, that I have learned from.

1. "I feel very blessed."

Here's to the situations where we know we are screwed, but we try to look for the bright side anyways. Sometimes the best things can come from the worst situations, and we have to just learn to deal with it head on... like a car collision.

2. "We are screwed."

And then there is times when the bright side just does not exist. Knowing you are screwed can help you prepare for the worst. Sometimes bad situations are just that, bad. Sometimes there is no way around it so we must just admit, accept, and move on.

3. "I'm Beyonce always."

Self confidence is key here. Are we all really Beyonce? Technically, no. But why can't we feel like her? She is strong, powerful and beautiful in her own right. We should all strive to be like that not matter what. Michael Scott is just one step ahead of us.

4. "Why are you the way you are?"

Finally realizing why your friends and yourself are the way you are. Sometimes I hate every stupid, funny thing about myself and my friends. Questioning why they are the way they are may or may not bring us the answers we are looking for. But sometimes it is not the answers that we need, just the question.

5. "I don't even consider myself a part of society."

Just same, Michael, same. We all have days and times when we feel like we don't fit in. But who cares? What is so great about fitting in anyways? Nothing, really. Being different is what makes us unique.

6. "Why? Because your bros are always there for you."

One lesson that we can never over learn is that friends are the best people you can surround yourself with. A significant other should never outweigh your love that you have and owe to your friends. They are always going to be the ones to pick you up when your down and piece you back together when you're broken. They are also the ones who will sit next to you in a jail cell and plead the fifth like it's their day job.

7."It's Britney, bitch."

Michael Scott never has any trouble channeling the people that influence him, so why don't we? Celebrities and our friends and family are always perceived in our actions and motions of our life. Why hide it? Embrace it.

8. "When I return, I hope to be a completely changed human being."

Can't lie, we have all thought this. Sometimes there are days when we just can't stand the things we say and the things we do. It's okay, we all have strange quirks and the right to change them, only if we want to, never for anyone else.

9. "It's never too early for ice cream."

It's a guilty pleasure, and we all have it. You'd be lying if you said you have never had ice cream for breakfast. It happens, so what? It's ice cream. That is all.

10. "My mom used to say that average people are the most special people in the world. That's why God made so many."

Being ordinary is perfectly okay. So what you are not a hotshot C.E.O. or a surgeon? Being you is the most extraordinary thing you can be, even if it is just ordinary.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
