If your birthday happens to fall during a week day, you have to sit through class all day until you can reunite with your friends and turn up.
But if you are as lucky as I am to have a weekend birthday – then your excitement lasts all day. You know you and your friends are going to go wild for the full 24 hours.
The look on your face when your friends surprise you with balloons and streamers all over your room.
Eating so much cake that you hate yourself, but can't stop and won't stop.
Realizing how old you keep getting... but then again, its okay because you realize that you are still young wild and free.
Picking out the perfect outfit, because who doesn't like to look nice on their birthday?
By now, you have gotten all dressed up and its time for the pictures with your friends: some great, some bad, some silly. It's essentially just like every other picture you've taken with them.
By now – night has fallen upon you and now you are looking for something to do. Do you pre-game at your place or do you go straight out to the bars? Both sound like a great time.
The first round of birthday shots begin.
And then the next round...
And the next... and another one after that.
Your friends keep asking you how you are doing...
By now, you are dancing like a crazy person but it feels great because your friends are right next to you sharing this beautiful time of the year with you.
It's time to return home, but don't worry your friends will tell you everything you did in the morning and you will at first deny it all but then end up laughing.
