You Know You're A Die-Hard Disney Fan If...

There are normal people who watch an occasional Disney film but then there are the die-hard fans who are devotees to the House of Mouse. Here are a few ways to tell the difference:

1. Every time a new movie is announced, you immediately mark your calendars, pre-order your tickets to the midnight showing, buy the soundtrack so you know the songs in advance and cosplay the main character.

2. “Where do you want to go for vaca--"

Did you really need to ask?

3. You have strong feelings on Disney World vs Disneyland

4. You know every single Disney song ever written and yes, you choose to listen to them over any other genre.

5. You swear by the FastPass system.

6. When someone asks you what your favorite park snack is: Dole Whip, Mickey Ice Cream, Mickey Pretzel, the enormous churros or the chicken legs... Can’t. Just. Pick. One.

7. You can recite “Wishes.”

8. “Who’s your favorite Princess/Prince/Villain?” LITERALLY CANNOT DECIDE

9. Your dream job is to work at one of the parks.

10. And your other dream is to spend the night in the Cinderella Castle Suite.

11. Turning 21? Forget a blowout bash--you want to drink your way around Epcot!

12. You have strong feelings about the removal of certain attractions (*cough* everything at Hollywood Studios *cough*) in light of newer attractions (*cough* The Pandora Park from Avatar*cough*).

13. The only mountain ranges you’re familiar with are Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and yes you have a favorite.

14. You own a pair of ears.

15. You have a Disney playlist, usually on repeat.

16. You can bet your mousetail that there will be subtle hints of Disney at your wedding.

17. And you have a list of Disney-inspired baby names

18. You can find hidden Mickey’s in everyday items.

19. Sometimes you plan a hypothetical trip because you’re having withdrawals.

20. You have the Disney Park app and yes you check it daily.

21. You can quote Disney like it's your job

22. No matter what age you are, you still get excited when the classic castle opening comes on when you watch a movie.

The best part about being a Disney superfan is that you’re in touch with your inner kid and those people are usually the happiest! Brb, just going to plan another hypothetical vacation. Have a magical day!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
