There are many things unique to UNC Charlotte that not everyone can see. Things that we hold near and dear to our heart may mean nothing to a spectator. If you attend UNCC, you know these things for sure.

1. You know not to mess with the geese

2. You think “excited” is spelled “AXEcited”

3. You know that Chick-fil-a at 12:15 will take a year of your life

4. You know that EPIC is basically Africa

5. A pickaxe is no longer just a pickaxe

6. The color green is your new favorite color

7. 49ers football doesn’t make you think of San Francisco

8. You know the hell that is parking on campus

9. You know that every day is leg day

10. You know that it is in fact possible for Bojangle’s to run out of chicken

11. Construction no longer phases you

12. You don’t consider Friday a week day

13. You’re a panthers & hornets fan on some level

14. You know that you can in fact walk to cookout

15. You’ve walked out of Peet’s or Starbucks because of the line

16. North Tryon makes you want to cry

17. You’ve had to drop a class (probably math) because you can’t understand your professor

18. You know exactly what they mean when someone mentions the crazy preacher man

19. You’ve gotten lost in Colvard

20. You feel empty seeing Belk tower gone...RIP

21. Sirens…oh the sirens

22. You’ve spent countless hours in Atkins

23. You’ve probably slept there too
