Yes I am Catholic but no I will not shove my beliefs down your throat

I was born and raised a Catholic.

Went to a Catholic school for nine years, prayed every morning, wore uniforms, we even went to church every Thursday morning.

High school happened and I attended youth group, volunteered for things around the church, and went to church every Sunday.

College is currently happening and I attended chapel almost every Wednesday, looked up bible versus to get me through tests or a stressful day, and sometimes I even talked about My faith with a few people.

That was and is my life. I am Catholic. No I don't attend church every Sunday and no I don't read the Bible and beg you to believe what I do.

Truthfully I'm just like any other human being, I cuss like a sailor, I associate myself with people who do drugs because they are my friends, and I don't love myself as much as I should.

However, that doesn't make me any less Catholic.

Just because people don't follow the Bible or believe in the same God I do, doesn't mean I hate them. It also doesn't mean I try to covert them to my religion.

I'm no perfect Catholic by any means, and to be honest I don't know any perfect Catholics or people of that matter. If you want to talk about God I will give you my opinion but know that I will never ever try and change your beliefs just because I don't agree.

So in conclusion yes I am Catholic, but no, I will not shove my beliefs down your throat.
