Everyone knows this world is full of problems. Whether its political or economical, this world is hard to judge. Now we have the major issues such as terrorism, famine, disease, etc. But those are not the only issues that plague our world today. Some examples of two other pressing problems with our world today are:

1. Water Contamination

Now I know that this is a serious issue, but I still feel as though this is not addressed enough in the media. Not just in the third world, but in some industrial cities, the water can almost be considered undrinkable. The particles found in these water can be enough to cause serious diseases and can eventually lead to worse issues such as severe food poisoning and death. This issue is one that plagues many families and while there are attempts to clean it up, other countries should also be taking initiative and trying to help their citizens drink water that helps them.

2. Freedom of Speech/Expression/etc

America is called the land of the free for a reason. We as a country are supposed to accept those who are different from us. Yet, anytime we seem to do anything unorthodox or different, we are immediately branded with a name or saying. In the case of the NFL, Colin Kaepernick stood up for his own rights and was heavily attacked for it. And now some owners are threatening to remove players if they do not comply. This is simply unacceptable. Even if we disagree with beliefs from others, keep them to yourself. This world would be a much safer and healthier place if we all followed the biggest life lesson "Treat everyone the way that you would want to be treated."
