Retail is an interesting ride. If you ever want to get a different perspective on how people think, spend a few days working behind a register or on the floor and your mind will be completely blown. To explain the inner monologue that those at your favorite store experience daily, I have none other to explain it than the amazing Linda Belcher.
1. When the overly nice new coworker finally snaps at a rude customer for the first time
2. When someone leaves their food on the breakroom table
3. "You can go home early if you wa-"
4. Talking to your family/friends before you clock into your shift
5. When a big rush is happening but it's time for you to clock out
6. Seeing that you're on the schedule for food stamps day
7. Training the newbies
8. Every old man that says "If it doesn't scan, it's free"
9. "Get me your manager."
10. Mood when you're folding a display that someone messed up
11. When the Christmas displays finally come out
12. Having your manager tell the annoying customer the same thing that you told them
13. "Well at the other store they let me.."
14. Trying to tell the customer about their reward points and they interrupt you and leave
15. Coming home after a shift from hell
