I didn't know about Vestique until the beginning of last year, but once I found it, I fell in love.

I always ask a girl where she got her clothes from if I love it. Whether it be a random girl on the street who's wearing the cutest shoes I have ever seen, or my friend who's wearing a top I'll probably ask to borrow within the next week. Knowing the key places to shop at given your style is important. That's why I've decided to share my top five favorite stores to browse, whether I actually buy something or not. These are not in order from most shopped to least.

1. Bevello

Bevello has been a long time favorite of mine mainly because of the unique style and various products they have. They sell many brands so shopping there and finding a super cute shirt can lead you to find a whole new brand to shop, which I love. They are a little pricey so I don't shop there often but every now I then I find that one shirt I absolutely love. One item I've been eyeing from Bevello is this super cute dress from Free People. It's prefect for the spring time, especially paired with your favorite brown booties. This leads me straight into my number 2 store.

2. Free People

I know, expensive again, but given the right time you can find some pretty good deals in their sales items. I always go to Free People when I'm looking for some boho vibes. What's even better is the quality of the clothes, which may be expensive but you're getting your money's worth for sure. One item I'm in love with right now from there is this two-piece set that would be absolutely perfect for those summer weekend beach trips.

3. Urban Outfitters

Urban for me personally is a favorite. Though I do have my hit or miss days, I can always find something in there I love. The prices are reasonable and the clothes are good quality which is what you're looking for. One Urban item I love right now is this T-shirt dress. I find wearing dresses easier than pants becase that's less things to put on or figure out matching stuff for, which is why I love this baby-doll T-shirt dress style. It looks super comfy, yet fashionable paired with your favorite slip-ons or sandals.

4. Vestique

I didn't know about Vestique untill the begining of last year, but once I found it, I fell in love. It's a super cute botique with tons of trendy items you'll love. They have great prices combined with great clothes, so if you've never heard of them, you should totally check them out. One item i'm obsessed with from there are these shorts. I'm just really into summer vibes right now because I'd rather be at the beach.

5. Lulus

Lulus is another store with great prices. One thing I love about them is they always have so many dresses, so it's a great place to look for a semi-formal or even prom dress for less than $100, if you're in the market. One dress from their I'm currently in love with is this off the shoulder Gingham dress. Perfect for spring/warm weather I hope is coming soon.

Happy Shopping!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
