Why You Should Fall In Love Every Single Day You're Here

Why You Should Fall In Love Every Single Day You're Here
Adriana Gil

We fall in love every day with someone new, and that's that. We are all constantly changing; whether that be physically, emotionally and/or mentally. Every day we wake up a little different. Maybe you woke up a little more tired or with a new bruise you have no idea how you got. Maybe today you're watching a new show instead of sticking to your go to.

The point is, every day is a new day and every day you have the chance to discover and experience something new. Every day you choose to go through the same routine or to start up a new one. Everyday we choose to continue loving those we love. We wake up and continue making the decision that we want to love the new person whom we somehow still know. People around you choose to love you every day as well, even if you did wake up a little more grouchy than usual.

All those changes you and those around you go through, build to the person you wake up every morning to be. Therefore, you're faced with the challenge of falling in love every day with someone new. You will encounter people in your life that you love until you no longer love the person they have become. In the simplest terms, it's a way of life and it is okay. Mainly because you should fall in love with the person that throughout all their changes, you're still in love with.

Everyone that woke up today, has a series of decisions to make to go through their day. There is more than just one person right now choosing to not do something that they do every day — and that is OK. If we never changed, there would be no growth in our lives. We would stay the people we are, and we would be more close-minded than ever. We would not progress but digress due to everything else around us changing. Change is needed on a day to day basis, and luckily it comes naturally.

We choose who we love; for all their changes and more. Though sometimes we forget that the person we should continue to love every day, no matter the change, is ourselves. We should accept who we are in order to love others for them. People may come and go, but you will always stay you, no matter how different you wake up one day from the other.

So, fall in love with yourself every day. Fall in love with the world around you and never stop falling in love with something new.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
