The Jersey shore. It's a place that millions of people of every age spend their summer days. There are seven major shore points, along with some smaller beaches, on the New Jersey coast: Avalon, Sea Isle, Ocean City, Stone Harbor, Atlantic City, Cape May and Wildwood. While each beach has its perks, we all know which one is the best. Wildwood is known for its unique Boardwalk, it's long free beaches, and it's family fun atmosphere.
Wildwood Boardwalk is home to Curley's fries, the best French fries in the world. Everyone knows the fierce competition between Mack's and Sam's pizza. The boardwalk has three piers with over 100 rides including kiddie rides, roller coasters and a giant ferris wheel. There's also multiple water parks. Apart from the boardwalk, wildwood beaches are always super clean, despite being free. The water is almost always jelly fish, seaweed and trash free. There are hundreds of hotels right on the beach or super close by. Wildwood also has activities for every age. There's playgrounds, a convention center, night life and many amazing restaurants all within walking distance.
The Wildwood beaches are separated into three areas: North Wildwood, the Crest and The Heart of Wildwood. I prefer the Crest, but all of Wildwood is entertaining and amazing in its own way. North Wildwood has a lot of houses and bars, for adults. The crest has a shorter and nicer beach and is a safer alternative if you don't want to stay right in Wildwood. Wildwood itself is where all the action is. Once you take a trip to Wildwood, you will never prefer another shore over it again.
While any beach is nice and relaxing, Wildwood has the whole package. It is not just for kids or just for adults. That is what makes this shore point so special. Wildwood has everything for everyone. I personally like the boardwalk at night with all the lights, but every inch of Wildwood, NJ is a fun filled time and there's no where better to spend your summers!
