7 Reasons To Never Watch "The Bachelor" Again

After it was recently announced that Nick Viall was going to be the new Bachelor, I saw several angry women on my newsfeed claiming that they were done with The Bachelor. I wasn't exactly on the same page as these women, but I decided to try and understand their points of view and where they are coming from. So, I recollected my thoughts on this show I love so much and the new Bachelor himself, and I successfully came up with seven reasons to never watch The Bachelor ever again:

1. If you hate giving people second chances.

Becca Tilley, Kacie Boguskie, Ashley Iaconetti or Brad Womack anyone? Becca Tilley was on two consecutive seasons of The Bachelor as was Kacie Boguskie. Ashley Ianconetti was painfully remembered by her crying on Chris Soule's season of The Bachelor and was also invited to two consecutive seasons of Bachelor in Paradise. Brad Womack was a two-time Bachelor, who picked NO ONE his first time around and was given another chance at the lead role. So, getting to the point, there have been numerous decisions to let certain characters back onto the franchise, and most of the time, for drama. So, why is it that I am just now hearing about numerous people willing to ditch out on their favorite series forever, because of the casting choice? Why not give the same guy who was denied a proposal twice a chance, when we give Ashley's tears three chances?

2. If you don't like rooting for the underdog.

Maybe it's because I'm a lifelong Tennessee Vol fan, but I love rooting for the underdog. The person who always gets shafted and sometimes just screwed out of the prize. Nick Viall is the ultimate underdog. I mean, I don't think I've ever known a guy to get denied during a proposal- let alone two. Nick Viall has had his fair share of humiliation on television, so why not root for him to find happiness here, too?

3. If you don't want to end your bad Mondays by watching a great show with a great glass of wine.

Don't argue with me on this one: nothing is better than ending your awful Monday night by watching The Bachelor in your pajamas while drinking wine. I have seen/liked/and retweeted so many other women who feel this way as well. If your Mondays are awesome and you don't need to destress with a good show and wine, then you don't need this show like I do sometimes. But if you, like me, have gray hair-growing, stressful Mondays sometimes, then you need this show. No matter if you like Nick Viall or not, this show actually helps the bad days.

4. If you hate watching beautiful men and women going on elaborate and #goal worthy dates.

Yeah, that happened. Ice skating under Christmas lights and Christmas trees? If for nothing else, this show will give you ultimate date ideas that you can bother your significant other with. Every single season I am blown away be the dates that they have on this show. But hey, if you hate romantic dates and incredible views, you may wanna skip out on watching this season. Or ever.

5. If you hate having a common bond with your sister, friends, mother-in-law, etc.

This show brings us females together. Whether it's co-workers, sisters or strangers in line at Kroger, you will instantly have a bond with millions of girls tweeting and talking about the same thing you are. Don't tell me JoBecca doesn't give you friendship goals. The friendships made on this show might be more heartwarming than the relationships.

6. If you didn't watch the "Bachelor in Paradise."

One of the only reasons I could understand not wanting to watch Nick Viall as the Bachelor is if you didn't watch this summer's season of the Bachelor in Paradise. Nick didn't have the best portrayal in Andi and Kaitlyn's seasons of The Bachelorette, but his true personality came through this summer. Throughout all of the drama and tears and backstabbing, Nick was easily the most level-headed and mature person on the show. Almost everyone went to Nick for advice and he didn't start any drama- but instead focused on building relationships with his co-stars. So, I'm sorry if you didn't get to see this side of Nick that Bachelor Nation loves, but if you did, I truly think you would be excited to see Nick start his journey as the Bachelor.

7. If you don't want to watch a genuine guy find the girl of his dreams.

Third time's the charm, right? Hey, this isn't another Juan Pablo or Brad Womack, but more of a Sean Lowe and Ben Higgins category. Like I said before, Nick has totally shown us over time what a genuine and caring person he is. I truly believe that Nick is ready and committed to find the one girl he will spend forever for, and that's why I'll be watching every episode of Nick's season. Although I know many of you say you won't watch Nick as the Bachelor, please keep these things in mind as Nick's season approaches us this year. Because who knows, maybe he will surprise you and be your favorite Bachelor thus far?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
