Don't get me wrong, I stay up too late and watch Tik Tok, too. I understand the struggle, but lets not forget the original, Vine.

Hear me out, I love Tik Tok as much as anyone else, but we must not forget where it started out. Some may say that Tik Tok came from Musical.ly, and they wouldn't be wrong. But where did the idea of Musical.ly come from? The one and only, Vine.

For those that don't remember or know what Vines are, they were seven second videos that were popular back in the early 2010's. These videos may have been very short, but they got the point across and made all of us laugh.

Vine and Tik Tok are similar in the way that they were both created for entertainment and for people to laugh. Nowadays there are stickers that people get from Red Bubble, an online sticker company, that i'm sure everyone has seen on the cases of peoples laptops. But do you see Tik Tok quotes on peoples laptop cases? No. Because Vine is better.

I was In middle school when Vine was popular, and I remember people pulling out their iPod Touches and pulling up vines during lunch and showing their friends the videos. The same thing would happen on the bus rides home, and when we would get home from school. Vine was the original Tik Tok. Some of the original Vine creators are even Tik Tok creators. And I'm not going to lie, yes I have a Tik Tok and yes I am addicted to Tik Tok, but I can't say that I like Tik Tok better than Vine.

If you aren't old enough to remember Vine, I am truly sorry. And I don't know about every one else my age, but I still pull up Vines on YouTube and watch them occasionally and reminisce about the good ol' days.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
