Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. It's the day where I get to see all my family members and catch up with them. There are just so many reasons why I love thanksgiving-- not to mention the food, which is always amazing.

1. Making memories

Everyone has those hilarious Thanksgiving stories that your family members tell. I probably have the biggest family in the world and certainly have the loudest. Getting together and having all of us in one house, I think the whole neighborhood can hear us. Sitting around the table, laughing, watching football, taking afternoon naps and playing games-- those are some of my most cherished moments of Thanksgiving.

2. Family

Getting together with my family is my favorite. Having all of my family show up at the door, and seeing all the joy they bring to the atmosphere is my favorite. The love that my family brings and the love that my family shares is something truly special. I'm so lucky to have such a loving family on both of my parents' sides. Family means everything to me.

3. Food

Who doesn't love Thanksgiving food? Waking up in the morning to the smell of food is amazing. My family isn't very traditional with cooking a turkey for thanksgiving because no one in my family likes turkey, but the chicken is always amazing. I also love helping my mom in the kitchen and getting full before lunch even rolls around, because I have been sneaking bites of food all morning. That's one of the many reasons I love Thanksgiving.

4. Giving Thanks

At the end of the day, it's always good to share what we are thankful for. Whether it is our health, our happiness or our jobs, it's always important to reflect on everything from the past year and share what we are truly thankful for.

Thanksgiving is a time to be with our loved ones and to share the true meaning of Thanksgiving and to give thanks and appreciate the things that are really important to us. So this Thanksgiving, focus on what is really important. Spend time with your families and give thanks.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
