Why do we struggle so much in life? Why does it seem like the terrors of the night and the screams of the day will never go away? Why do we keep holding on if we can't get out of the nightmare?
There are many things throughout the day and night that catch us off guard. They may be bad, but they could end up being great life lessons.
What could one example be? Let's say you have never gone to jail or you don't get into trouble period. Your friends want to go get something from a bakery, but you did not know that they were not going to buy anything. They tell you to stay outside and let them know if anyone is coming. Boom! They just broke the window. Glass is all over the ground now. Sirens are coming your way, and the police pull up and the only person they find is you. Yes, just you. Your friends are long gone by now.
What would the life lesson be from that? Don't get caught next time! Yes, that could be a lesson, but I would think the life lesson would be don't do things you don't want to. Those friends probably aren't that good of friends to be hanging out with, anyway.
Life is a struggle, and even though it feels like we will never get away, we will! Hold on! Don't give up on life! My life matters because Jesus died on the cross so that I could live, by having the Holy Spirit inside my soul, I will not die. No, I will leave this earth when it is God's Will and I will live forever in His kingdom! My life isn't over, it's just began, and I will make the best of each moment. There is always going to be a great surprise at the end of the struggle.
