Stranger Things is back and everyone's talking about it, and for good reason. Season 2 is great and even better than the first. It's intense, bloodier, and even more cinematic. The cast is still great, and the Spielberg and 80's influences are still there as the Upside Down is back for vengeance along with a shadow monster taking control of Will Byer's mind.
Besides a pointless episode 7 focusing on Eleven and her short-lived excursion with her lost sister, season 2 is near perfect. While the Duffer Brothers are so influenced by so many other films and 80's nostalgia, they have their own voice with these characters. The performances can bring tears to your eyes and it's so easy to love every single one of these characters.
All I can say is if you are one of the few people in this world that has not watched the Netflix pop-culture phenomenon that is Stranger Things, then you are missing out and you need to enjoy the strange world that is Hawkins, Indiana.
There's really nothing more to be said of season 2, so now we wait anxiously for season 3 after that crazy climax.
