Unless you have been living under a rock in a very remote location for the past four years, you know the name, Harry Styles. Yes, I am speaking about the magical, long-maned unicorn member of the beautiful boy band, One Direction. Although every member of this band has his own merits -- like Zayn’s incredible face chiseled from the gods, or Louis’ overall existence -- Harry has captured the hearts of young and old alike with his weird tweets and general air of goofiness. As my mother says, “I would shave my head to meet Harry Styles.” Same, Mom. Same. Here are a few reasons why Harry has stolen my heart, and probably yours, too.

Sixteen year old Harry on the X-Factor was a cherubic angel who wore awkward sweaters and broke your heart with his dimple.

Are you kidding me? He is so bad, I love him. 

He’s never afraid to cry or access his sensitive side, like the doll that he is. 

He is scared of fireworks, like, oddly terrified.

He loves his mommy, and seems quite respectful of women and people, in general. 

His friendships with the other boys are adorable and genuine, especially with a certain Louis Tomlinson. Don’t talk to me about Larry. I love them too much. 

He truly does not give a damn about what other people think about him, and never tries to explain away dumb rumors -- even about having an affair with the President of the United States. 

He has the voice of an angel, and looks like one when he’s singing. 

That one time he got hit in the crotch with a shoe was truly epic. In other news, Taylor Swift is missing a converse. LOL JKJK. Not really, though. 

He refuses to button his shirts. And no one minds. 

He always takes time out to take pictures and talk with fans, and once he even broke through a barrier to calm down a fan when she was having a panic attack. Why Harry thinks it’s a good idea to give a girl a hug when she’s already freaking out is beyond me, but it was a good effort.  

Sometimes, he just randomly blurts out awkward statements that makes everyone else uncomfortable. But does he care? Not really. 

Just. His body. In general. 

His hair! If you are not a fan of the long mane, get outta' here. Long hair, don’t care, amirite?! 

One time he was on iCarly and his acting was so bad. So bad. 

He switches between his goofy princess child and sexy “Taylor Swift writes songs about me” personas way too easily.

Good lord, I could go on forever, but if you weren’t in love with Harry Styles before, I am sure you are, now. Cheers, mate.
