10 Reasons Saint Teresa of Calcutta is a Total Boss

Whoah guys its finally happened Mother Teresa of Calcutta is finally a saint! This fact brings me so much joy and happiness that a saint of our age while we were growing up is finally a saint! Mother Teresa has brought us so many amazing realizations about our world, how suffering is so real and we can be Christ to every single person we encounter. So I am officially calling it now... Saint Teresa of Calcutta is going to be that saint of our generation. To show us that even through the immense suffering that exists in this world we can be the light of Christ to every single person we meet. So here are 10 reasons why Saint Teresa is a total boss and shows us truly how to be the light of Christ to everyone we meet.

1. There is no judgment only love

How many times do we judge people? We may even judge others without noticing we are doing it. Mother Teresa said that when we judge people we have no time to love them and we should forgive those who have hurt us anyway. What a beautiful witness to the faith and truly being an instrument of peace through the mercy of God.

If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

2. The Little Way

There are no great things, only small things with great love. Happy are those.

3. Spread love not hateSpread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.

4. Pray

Prayer! Obviously we need to pray, but Mother Teresa taught us a special way to pray through the most Holy Rosary as well as thirsting so intensely for the Lord. Mother Teresa also said, "For love to be true it starts with God in prayer."Funny story... so Mother Teresa was in spiritual desolation for years!!! For over 50 years to be exact! She shows us that even when our Lord feels the furthest away and we feel rejected, he is still there, we just have to trust in him. Jezu Ufam Tobie.

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.

5. Illuminata Pace

Illuminating Peace! Seriously, guys Mother Teresa illuminates so much peace especially next to my main man here Pope Saint John Paul II. These two seriously had the best friendship and were the key to help bring peace into our at many times messed up world. It is so amazing how peace unites everyone no matter what race, age, religion or culture- we all want and desire it!

If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.

6. It Starts with a Smile

Peace begins with a smile..

7. Speak Kindness

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

8. Love, Love and Love Again

I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love.

9. It Starts with 1 Person

If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.

10. Be that Net of Joy

Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.

Pray for us Saint Teresa of Calcutta.... you are so boss!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
