Why "Once Upon A Time" Can Go to H*ll

My thoughts on the Season 5 mid-season finale (spoilers!).

Why "Once Upon A Time" Can Go to H*ll

I don't even know where to begin. I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest, and just beaten. If you're not caught up with "Once Upon a Time" (OUAT), stop reading now. Spoilers ahead.

I've been on an emotional roller coaster with "Once Upon a Time" from the beginning, but this season has been unreasonably stressful. Starting with "Dark Swan."

Who decided it would be OK just to make Emma into the Dark One? Like, who just thought that they had the right to write her into Darkness? Not cool, boo boo, not cool.

I just spent half a season trying to figure out why in the world Emma would curse everyone to find out that she was really doing to try and save everyone, more specifically Killian.

Emma turned Hook into a Dark One to save his life. What? Why is this OK? This will never be OK.

Emma cursed all of Storybrooke and was trying to unite Excalibur because she turned the man she loved into an evil being of dark magic! Emma's plan to fix this: unite Excalibur and use it to destroy the darkness by forcing it all into Zelena and killing her. While I'm all for getting rid of Zelena, I'm really not. Her sick twisted self adds a whole new layer of entertainment to every storyline she weasels her way into.

Can we just talk about Zelena for a moment? This b*tch has been stirring stuff up in Storybrooke since Season 3. Oddly enough, though, this season I've had to side with her on some things. I honestly don't understand why they don't just let her take her baby and be on her merry way to Oz.

I understand Robin is the father, but by means he didn't consent to. Just let her have the rape baby. Is it really too much of a stretch to believe this baby could actually make her turn over a new leaf? Too bad it definitely can't if Regina keeps taunting her like this.

Regina is my favorite character, which is why I can say she is the last person with any right to come between Zelena and her child. Hello Regina, have we forgotten your A+ mothering of Henry?

Regina literally summoned a cyclone to take Zelena to Oz and rip her away from her child. She's going to find her way back from somewhere over the rainbow to Storybrooke with a vengeance, and honestly you can't blame her.

Then there's the matter of Hook's death. Hook's evil plan was to make all of Emma's family go to hell so that all of the Dark Ones could be free to take over the world. Like, what? In this Mid-Season finale everyone was waiting for the ferry to the Underworld to come and take them away. A little nod to what's in store from our Herculean friends.

In an attempt to foil Killian's plans, Emma was going to use Excalibur to trap all of the darkness in herself and kill herself, but after a shocking turn of events, and five second character changer, Killian decided to trap the darkness in his body and have Emma kill him. That's right, Hook is dead.

But that's not it. Rumple tricked everyone because he knew what Hook would do, and used him as a conduit to channel the darkness into himself through Hook's death, making himself the Dark One once again, but this time even more powerful.

The finale ended with Emma and company loading up the ferry to the Underworld to go and rescue Hook from hell.

One can only imagine where this is going, and I'm going to be very stressed out about it in the months coming until the show airs again in March.

I'm sure all us fans agree by the way it treats us, that "Once Upon a Time" can go to h*ll…and they are.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
