If you ask someone if they want a pet, most would say yes without hesitation. I mean, who doesn't want a furry companion to keep them company and bring them constant love and joy? Whether you're a cat person or a dog person, the bond between a pet and their owner is undeniably a loving one. A pet provides company without the exchange of words, which is both a valuable and unique bond. Their coats of fur can only deflect the cold winds and snow for a short period of time, leaving them freezing and alone. Shelters are a safe place for these animals, however they have a capacity and unfortunately cannot house all the animals that seek shelter and love. Need I say more? Even a grandparent who you may fear is lonely could greatly thrive from the company of a loyal cat, who needs minimal tending to. They will bring nothing but joy and love into your life and teach you that a happy life requires no more than a bowl of food and a companion to share it with (not actually because pet food is gross).
