Why F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Will Forever Be My Favorite Show

Ever since this show came on Netflix, I've probably watched every season at least four times. It's full of relatable quotes, memorable characters, wacky storylines, sentimental moments, and just overall good-feeling fun. It's the show I turn on when I need a pick-me-up, when I'm bored, or just when I need some background noise. It has been and probably will forever by my favorite show and here's why:

1. The characters


Chandler, Joey, Ross, Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe are all distinctly different people. They're all important for a reason and they each add a different flavor to the show. Chandler's just funny, Joey's stupidly funny, Ross is annoyingly funny, Rachel's the stereotypical It-Girl, Monica's endearingly neat, and Phoebe's weird but in a good way.

2. Ross's many divorces


It is the longest running joke throughout the show.

3. The relatability to relationships

Also the time Rachel tried to play it too cool trying to get Danny.

4. Janice

You know exactly what this sounds like.

5. Ross and Rachel

On again, off again, on again... They are the most complicated couple in TV history. Yet, no one ever stopped rooting for them.

6. Chandler and Monica

Favorite couple ever. They started out as friends and then fell in love!

7. Phoebe and Mike

8. Joey's pick-up line


9. Smelly Cat

"What are they feeding you?"

10. Chandler and Joey's relationship

They are BFF goals.

11. The chick and the duck

Best pets ever.

12. Monica's fat days

13. ALL. THE. QUOTES.


So many quotes, so little time.

There's so much more I could've added to this list but for now, I think this proves my point.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
