At some point or another during college, it seems like there always comes the time to plan a trip, book a flight, and get out of town. Most spring breaks are spent in sunny locations and some semesters are even spent studying abroad. Most college students are usually struck with wanderlust during their four years stuck on campus. Instead of worrying about bank accounts and what to wear next weekend, every college student should look for more reasons to travel. Every college student needs to use some of their time for adventuring and exploring. Everyone needs to use of their time for adventuring and exploring the world that surrounds us.
1. Mostly likely, you only have a few years left before you have a full-time job.
Full-time jobs result in less vacation time than college brings. You'll get a week off every once in awhile but you might not be in the mood to take a long flight when you do.
2. The little money you have in college isn't going to make much difference in the future.
There really isn't that much of a reason to save money during college for a big house or a fancy car. The money you have in college is only going to be a small fraction of of what those are worth. Now this doesn't mean you have to spend every dollar you have, but think about where you spend it and instead you might use it go somewhere you've never been.
3. There is so much to explore.
Travelling might teach you about where you want to live, where you want to work, or where you'd like to end up in the future. No one ever said we had to live in one place forever.
4. You're young and able.

5. You have more time than anyone.
There's no sense in working your life away in your free time. Work some and use that well-earned money for adventures.
6. You have so many people who would love to travel with you.
College is the time when everyone is practically living with their best friends and seeing their significant others every day. These people will for sure want to travel the world with you.
9. Traveling will only make you more well-rounded.
Insights and ideas of other cultures are everything, and we can learn so much by just living in someone else's shoes. Take a leap of faith and go somewhere you've never been, even if it's only a three hour car ride and not a five hour flight.
10. You'll learn much more about yourself and who you are as a person.

11. It's only the beginning.
You've got the rest of your life, but start now and see more.
