1. Elle Woods Is an all-around impressive person

Elle was Delta Nu President and had a fashion marketing degree. She graduated undergrad with a 4.0 GPA, plus she even scored a 179 on the LSAT (one point away from a perfect score) while balancing a super long list of extracurriculars!

2. Elle Woods is very determined!

Elle sets her mind on something and works hard to get it! She knew she wanted to go to Harvard Law, and she studied hard enough to get in! She wouldn't let anyone tell her she wasn't smart enough and she proved them all wrong.

3. Elle realizes that Warren doesn't respect her, and sets out to prove him wrong

She comes to understand that Warren still thinks of her as the dumb blonde. Elle is definitely not okay with that, and she decides that it's time to grow up and stop chasing after guys.

4. Elle makes friends with Vivian

Vivian treated Elle horribly at the beginning of the movie, but doesn't hold that against her. She's open to having Vivian as a friend, and doesn't worry about Warren anymore.

5. Elle gets chosen for the internship

All of her hard work pays off and she is one of the few students chosen to work with Professor Callahan

6. Elle is loyal

Elle refused to believe that her Delta Nu sister (and client) was guilty. Plus, when she finds out her alibi, she promises not to tell anyone. Even though Elle could have advanced her career by just telling Professor Callahan what she knew, she decides to honor her sisterhood.
