Why Your College Best Friends Are Your Soulmates

I am so lucky that I have made such amazing best friends in college, in fact, I have a solid 10 of them. Yes, the 10 of us are inseparable. We don't do anything alone and we know more about each other than we know about ourselves. This is how you know you've met your soulmates.

1. Your group chat goes off 24/7.
Your battery is constantly dying because your group chat does not stop going off. You discuss everything and anything over text. You go to bed with 20 messages and wake up with 30 notifications.

2. You can't do anything without each other… literally.
You wait for each other to walk anywhere. You base your eating, workout and homework schedules off of one another. You tan, grocery shop and get your nails done together. You are constantly with one another and miraculously, don't get annoyed of one another.

3. You encourage each other to drink more than even remotely okay.
There's no way you're missing a night out unless you have a seriously good reason to stay in! When you're not all out together it just doesn't feel right. Drinking is a sport, not a hobby, so you better keep up…

4. You give TMI on last night's hook up.
After a night out there is no doubting every detail of each of your nights will be vividly played out over breakfast the next morning. I live for the morning after talks at Yogi's on Sunday afternoons. Obviously knowing the dirty deets is always the hottest topic of discussion.

5. You fight over which "Sex and The City" characters you are.
Who's who is a common debate with your girlfriends. Obviously no wants to be Miranda and being referred to as Samantha is a total compliment. You'll notice at least one of your friends fits the description of each character. The debate can last hours!

6. You all watch the same series on Netflix so you can discuss all the details.
You must stay up-to-date on your Netflix series or you're totally out of the loop. The characters and drama of the show are a regular part of your everyday conversations. There's nothing like cuddling up all together on Saturday morning to Netflix the day away!

7. You fight like sisters.
You can't maintain a healthy friendship without a little bit of bickering. When you fight with your best friends it's out of love and let's be honest it's always over the stupid stuff. You know after an hour everything will be back to normal!

8. You encourage each other that it's okay to order a large Topper sticks at 3 a.m. on a Saturday night.

9. Then bitch about letting you order it the next morning.

10. You're each other's biggest supporters.
A little motivation from your best friends goes a long way. They support you with any decision you make, well mostly… You obviously wouldn't support letting your best friend hook up with an ugly guy. And they're always there for you when you need them most.

11. You're brutally honest with one another.
There's nothing you keep from one another; all of the cards are on the table when referring to personal convos with your best friends. You're not afraid to tell each other the truth about their outfit, hair, or boys. Nothing is left out.

12. You can hold a 30 minute conversation about absolutely nothing.
There's no such thing as awkward silence when you and all of your best friends are anywhere together. You can talk for hours but absolutely nothing.

13. There's NEVER a dull moment.
Being with your best friends is pure entertainment on its own. No one can keep you amused for as long and often as your partners 'n crime!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
