Why I Am Going To Miss "2 Broke Girls"
CBS

I am John Fazal Bhatti, college senior and a self proclaimed "2 Broke Girls" super fan. I literally walk around quoting the show. No joke, you can ask all my family and friends. The show has given me so much over the last six years of my life. I don't know whether all my favorite actors from "2 Broke Girls" will even see this piece, but I want to thank them for making me laugh, cheering me up, and for always making me feeling good.

Unfortunately "2 Broke Girls"was recently cancelled. The show has had six seasons and has been off since the Fall of 2011. I was shocked like so many fans because the show has been on for years has great ratings. The show has been continually entertaining and hilarious. The show has been a part of my life since I was in high school. I have always related to the show because I have grown up in an unstable financial environment and I was always able to relate to some of the struggles that Max and Caroline faced on the show. I will truly miss the show, and in my heart I wish the show was being renewed for it's seventh season. Each character meant a lot to me in their own way. They made me laugh, inspired me, and always uplifted my spirit. "2 Broke Girls" will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always love and miss the show. Max and Caroline will forever be the most iconic duo in my eyes. Each character means so much to me, and I have specific reasons why each character means something to me. The humor and edgy sarcasm in "2 Broke Girls" will forever be missed.

Max and Caroline, who are played by Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, will forever hold a special place in my heart. Caroline and Max truly made the show. From their jokes and humor to their ability to beat the odds, they were the most iconic duo. Max has the best sense of humor, and true inner strength, her heart is full love for her friends, and she will do anything to help them. I can relate to that because I always try my best to help my friends and be there for them. I love Caroline because of her determination, brains, and ability to fight through any situation and never give up on her dreams. I can relate to that because that's how I am as a person. I don't give up when life throws curve balls at me, and I always try to find a solution, like Caroline does. I always related to them because I have grown up in a financially stressful environment, but like them I have worked hard to try to fix the financial problems in my family's life. I also love that they are beautiful inside and out. I love Kat and Beth's chemistry. I would love to see them do more projects together in the future. I remember, once on the show, someone called them "Amy and Tina," and I feel they really are a lot like the hilarious Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. They also have the same vibes a funny blonde and a funny brunette.

(Sophie is played by Jennifer Coolidge)

Sophie is definitely the heart and soul of "2 Broke Girls." She has the best one-liners and is absolutely hilarious. Even though she is very sassy she has a good heart, she is always willing to help to Max and Caroline out. She is very honest and will tell it like it is, which something I can relate to as well. I am very honest and, like Sophie, I will tell it like it is. At the same time, like Sophie, I am willing to back up my friends and have their back always. On a personal note, Sophie will always hold a special place in my heart because she reminds of my cousin Aliya who passed away earlier this month. Sophie's glamour and humor always remind me of my cousin who I was close to and miss dearly. We had bonded over our love of this show. I always say that she's the Sophie in my life. Through Sophie I feel like I am able to see my cousin. It's sad that we are unable to see Sophie and Oleg's lives progress on the show. Here are some of Sophie's best one liners.

Oleg is so hilarious and his jokes are always on point. Hearing one of Oleg's lines instantly cheers me up. They are so well written and hilarious, and he is probably the funniest character on the show. Sophie and Oleg together are comedy gold and another iconic duo.

(Oleg is played by Jonathan Kite)

(Han is played by Matthew Moy)

Han is hilarious, and his interactions with Max and Caroline are amazing. He is so funny and sassy. He sasses the both of them perfectly and is so entertaining.

(Earl is played by Garrett Morris)

Earl is absolutely hilarious and makes the show as amazing as it is. He has the best lines, and he had the best sassy and witty jokes. His interactions with Max can instantly make me feel better if I am feeling down and out.

One of the newer characters is Randy, Max's boyfriend and Max's eventual fiancee. "Randy" is a character I relate to a lot too. He is one of my favorite because he is literally goals. He is hilarious, smart and cool, basically everything I try to be. He's a lawyer, something I aspire to be. I'm a criminal justice minor. It would've been interesting to see how their relationship on the show would have progressed in season 7.

(Randy is played by Ed Quinn)

I once again would like to thank CBS for giving people like me an amazing show like "2 Broke Girls" over the last six years. I want to them thank all the actors, the production team, the network, and everyone who made the show what it was. "2 Broke Girls" has given me so much over the last six years, the show has made me laugh, cheered me up, and truly changed my life. I will forever miss the show. This is my thank you to the show that has done so much for me.
In my heart, I do wish the show was coming for a seventh season, but at the same time I am thankful for everything the show has done for me.

Thank you from your biggest fan,

John Fazal Bhatti

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
