In its 8 years, 9 season run, "The Office" proved that it could turn the daily lives of a paper company into a story that millions wanted to follow. There were laughs, heartbreak, secrets, and anger, and we all watched as our favorite characters grew as we did. NBC managed to create a wide range of main characters who captured a different and unique part of many of its watchers.

It is through binge watching the series, many times, that I have realized I could draw connections between the characters and my friend group. Take a look at this list to decide which character or combination of characters you are.

1. Jim - The Social Butterfly

You’re a social butterfly and a prankster. You’re often trying to make others laugh, and you’re usually pretty good at it. There may be one or two people that don’t like you, but, overall, you’re extremely well-liked. You work hard, but you have the tendency to be easily distracted when bored. Your emotions are usually hidden because you’re afraid of what will happen when the truth is out.

2. Pam - The Artsy Friend

You’re artsy as all get out. Your friends are sitting there struggling to draw a stick figure, and your nonchalantly drawing masterpieces that would put Van Gogh to shame. A lot of time, you keep your opinion to yourself until it boil over and explode.

3. Dwight - The Crazy Bossy Friend

You’re bossy and probably a little bit crazy, but your friends wouldn’t trade you for the world. When it comes down to it, you will get done what needs to be done and will prove yourself a good friend. You have the tendency to see yourself as a little better than others, but that doesn’t keep you from myriads of trouble when it comes to your love life.

4. Michael - The Socially Inept Friend

You’re socially inept, but you’re not always aware of it. You try, often too hard, to endear yourself to those around you, which can lead to a lot of people disliking you. You would do anything for those who you love, and you treat those around you as your family. You want nothing more than to be loved and accepted. You have the tendency to like to be in the spotlight, and you will bend the truth if that’s what it takes.

5. Andy - The Musical Friend

You’re the musical friend. You can always be expected to be singing, playing an instrument, or making some obscure theatre reference. You are always striving to impress those around you, especially your parents. You have a kind heart, but you can have a more vindictive side when you feel you’ve been slighted, and you tend to have a hard time keeping control of your temper.

6. Toby - The "Safe" Friend

You play by the rules. You’re geeky, and you don’t really do much that’s too bad, but many people have a distinct hatred for you because of your play by the rules attitude. You have the best intentions at heart, but it always seems to blow up in your face. Many times, it seems like the world is out to get you.

7. Angela - The Convicted/Opinionated Friend

You’re known to be a bit of a stick in the mud. You’re strong in your religious convictions, and you’re quick to judge those around you who you believe are wrong. In the end, it is only love that can relatively soften your heart. You’re a diehard cat lover, and your cats even come before your human companions. You’re short tempered, and you have many secrets.

8. Erin - The Energizer Bunny Friend

You are a bundle of energy. You’re always ready to help a friend in need, but you often over analyze things, which can turn you into a big ball of stress. You’re not really sure what you want in life, often changing your mind about those you surround yourself with. You’re fiercely competitive, and it can sometimes overrun your usually sweet nature.

9. Kevin - The Foodie

Food is your best friend. You may not be the brightest, but you are a teddy bear to everyone around you. You can be annoying, and you have the sense of humor of a middle school boy. You love inappropriate jokes, and you keep little to yourself. When it comes down to it, though, you can be trusted with huge secrets, and you stick up for friends who have been slighted.

10. Meredith - The Rager

You’re a partier! You’re always up for a drink, whether with friends or by yourself. Your party habits are so extreme that they’ve caused bodily harm to you and awkwardness for others. You’re secretly smart, but this is overshadowed by your unseemly habits.

11. Kelly - The Attention Seeker

You’re always looking for attention by any means necessary. A lot of times, drama within the group stems from you, and you’re not mad about it. You get on people’s nerves a LOT, but you always manage to remain close to those around you.

12. Darryl - The Super Chill Friend

You’re a go with the flow type of person. You get along pretty well with everyone, and there isn’t really anyone who distinctly dislikes you. You have goals in life, but you often have a hard time motivating yourself to go for it, and, when you do, you don’t persevere. Eventually, you get to where you want to be every time.

13. Ryan - The Sketchy, Arrogant Friend

You’re sketchy, full of yourself, and a jerk. No one ever really knows what you're up to, but few ever actually ask the question. You a brown noser and extremely manipulative to those who you think you can benefit from. You’re not really sure why, but other people keep you around for one reason or another.

14. Stanley - The Super Lazy Friend

Outwardly, you’re a grump and extremely lazy. You never have any intention of doing any more work than necessary, and you are just trying to avoid any type of activity that requires any level of effort. On the inside, you’re more caring towards those who you’re close to and you will lend friend a hand if they need it. You’re known to occasionally lose your temper but not without provocation.

15. Creed - The Crazy Friend

You are downright crazy. You often make little sense, but you are lowkey one of everyone’s favorite people. Somehow, you stick around through everything. You don’t share details about your life, so others don’t know much about you.

16. Oscar - The Know-It-All

You’re a know-it-all, and you’re not ashamed. Your go to phrase is “actually”, and you constantly find yourself correcting others. You’re insanely smart, and people love doing group projects with you, even if you can be annoying. You may make mistakes, but you come through in a big way when your friends need you.

17. Phyllis - The Mom

You’re the parent of the group. You’re protect those you love, but you’re just a big ball of grandmotherly love. You’ve definitely got a sassy side, which shows itself when you feel like you’re not being treated fairly.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
