If you have seen at least one episode of Rick and Morty, you should be familiar with the usual five characters: Beth, Morty, Jerry, Summer, and Rick. Each of these people contributes different idiosyncrasies to the show’s hilarious pressure cooker of chaos.
The show only continues to impress with each new strange person introduced. As a tribute to the most dedicated fans, I’ve compiled a character analysis of a couple lesser-known appearances. This is written with fans of the show in mind, but each of these characters, lovable in their own flaws, can give anyone insight into their own fractured psyche.
1. Mr. Meezeeks
You are a constant people pleaser and have no purpose of your own. When you cannot find a solution to your friends’ problems, you collapse in utter despair. If you are unable to help your friends achieve their desires, you question your own worth as a person.
On the plus side, you are very persistent and wise. However, I highly suggest you work on developing your own identity separate from those around you, or you may cease to truly exist.
2. Snuffles/Snowball
You feel like you have great potential but no one understands how you feel inside, largely because others tend not to take you seriously. This lack of respect frustrates you, but when you finally find ways to appear more intimidating, you may let power get to your head.
Be careful not to stray too far from your loved ones in your journey to be heard.
3. Rick J19Z7
Your genuine but meek temperament makes you stand out from the norm like a sore thumb. All you want is to be treated kindly, but others use you as the laughing stock and scapegoat when things go wrong. Ignore those who try to bring you down, as they are all lacking in the empathy and compassion that make you a wonderful friend to people who are going through their own hard times.
The traits that set you apart from the crowd are the same ones that make you special and valuable.
4. Abradolf Lincler
You are the embodiment of two polar opposite types of people in one. These juxtaposed identities, one thirsty for power and the other passionate about morality, create the perfect storm for intense internal confusion. You may be prone to bouts of existential doubt, since you don’t know how to make sense of your contradicting personality.
There does not appear to be a resolution in the near future, but persevere and hopefully you can accomplish great things by mediating your two halves and applying the best of both.
5. Ice-T
You were meant for greater things than this world had to offer. You flout the rules and pave your own path in life, even when that means separating yourself from society. Shoot for the stars, but remember to stay grounded or you may lose sight of your destiny in the blinding glare of your own glory.
6. Tiny Rick
Tiny Rick!!!! You have recently become very popular and well loved for being intensely fun and spunky. You receive constant praise for your versatile talents and great intelligence, which can easily get to your head. This fame may be distracting you from releasing your true self, which you keep locked up somewhere else.
While it would be very taxing and untrue to your real personality to keep up the act forever, you cannot bring yourself to sacrifice your reputation. Luckily, you have some good friends who will notice your subtle cries for help and can help restore you to your original self.
