Which Avenger Would Win In A Popularity Contest?
Marvel Facebook

As some may (or may not) know, I have a soft spot for Marvel’s Avengers characters. They give a sense of jumping back into childhood years and reminding us that the good guys can win, and they sure can look good doing it.

You don’t have to be a young teenage girl to recognize that Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is easy on the eyes, especially when he throws that hammer and wins his battles. So which Avenger would become most popular if he were to step into reality right now? Everyone has their own opinion… mine took some thinking but I brainstormed and I’ve got it picked.

First, there’s sweet Captain America (Chris Evans) who won America’s heart by starting from a simple life and ending(freezing) it by sacrificing for the girl and giving all he’s got to his country. How can you compete with that, right?

The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) may try to, but aside from being able to quote unquote SMASH, then there isn’t much chance at popularity for someone who turns big and green from being angry. (I advise not stealing his food at dinner).

A newer Avenger in the contest is Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). His charisma and high talent and acrobatics is irreplaceable entertainment. He’s smooth and a sure contestant for popularity among all.

The real competitor for Mr. Popular sits on his fancy chair at the top of his own tower. Yup, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) is pretty high up there on who would be most popular in real life. From all the fancy tools he has, the giant penthouse, his car, and almost any other item you could want, he’s got it.

Let’s be honest, any of these guys would be fun to spend the weekend with. They’re funny, entertaining, heroic, easy on the eyes, and they can save your life at almost any moment.

So then the golden question: Who Would Be The Most Popular In Real Life? In my (heart) eyes I have to go with Steve Rogers, Captain America. I mean c’mon. His country’s hero and an undying love? He’s too dreamy to pass up.

For those who love quizzes as much as I do… and have the dream of your favorite character falling for you…you have to take this quiz.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
