Whethan is without a doubt one of the most talented upcoming artists right now. He’s been on the road for almost two months now headlining his first nationwide tour. Whethan started the Good Nights Tour in Los Angeles, California and finished it in his hometown of Chicago. I had the chance to attend his show at Canopy Club in Urbana, IL which was nothing short of incredible. Whethan had the sold-out crowd going crazy for is performance.

The night started with Light House who is an electronic artist with a unique style! This guy can play the trumpet so well and it’s amazing to see it happen. Surprisingly, this was his first show ever as Light House. His energy would make you believe differently because he was up there rocking the crowd. Up next was a frequent collaborator of Whethan and Louis The Child named Ashe. She is a singer-songwriter from California with talent out of this world. Her set was filled with amazing vocals and good vibes that the audience was feeding off of. Light House and Ashe were two very talented openers for Whethan’s set later that night.

SAINT WKND was the final opener before Whethan. He is a young artist from Germany with his own unique style! SAINT WKND had the crowd going wild from the beginning and throughout his entire set. He played a mix of his own original music and some classic bangers which the audience really enjoyed. He was the perfect transition into Whethan’s performance.

The opening sets could not have been better before Whethan came on. The night started out more relaxed and chill but started to really turn things up before the last performance. Whethan came out and the audience was going insane. They could not have been happier to see him. He started out strong and set the tone for his entire performance. He came to show Urbana a good time and he did just that.

Whethan has many original tracks that his fans came to hear live! Whenever he played one of his tracks during the set, the audience sang at the top of their lungs. There’s something special about an audience coming together for the music they love. It was easy to see that these people love Whethan and his music. They knew every word to his tracks and made sure he knew that! My favorite songs to see him play were love gang, When I’m Down, and Savage. He even brought Light House and Ashe to perform Can’t Hide and the crowd went wild for it. It’s one of Whethan’s most popular tracks and a great song to see performed live.

This was by far one of my favorite concerts of the year. Whethan and his team are doing something special and building an incredible brand. The fanbase is growing every single day and most of his following consists of die-hard fans. With the Good Nights Tour being wrapped up in Chicago, we’ll have to see what Whethan is up to next. Word on the street is that there’s an album coming. You heard that right, a Whethan album! Stay tuned.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
