Located in, you guessed it, Camden, Camden Market is filled with amazing food stalls, vintage clothes, and futuristic fashion. For anyone who is a hipster at heart, this is the place to go. With over 1000 stalls you're guaranteed to be busy all day, here are some of my top picks.
Where to Shop
Koo Style Patches
If your denim jacket needs a revamp like mine does, Koo Style is the place to go. The store is filled ceiling to floor with cute patches at a reasonable price. They claim to have over 500 designs inside.
Vintage Sportswear
Camden Market is filled with vintage clothing stores with great finds. One of my favorites was one filled with vintage sportswear. Neon colored windbreakers lined the racks in the store, super trendy for spring.
Cyberdog
While Cyberdog is totally NOT my style, the shop is super cool to check out. The store is like nothing I had ever seen. Greeted by giant robot statues and EDM music, I definitely needed to see what was inside. Cyberdog specializes in futuristic fashion and neon dancewear.
Autbox
Autbox is a soft grunge wonderland. Filled with holographic prints, pastels, and mesh, you're sure to find something cute here. Everything in the shop is handmade and the label is independent.
Turkish Delight
I was not able to go into this store when I went to the market, but I could tell from the outside how awesome it was. The store is filled with displays of handmade lanterns, which makes the store look magical in its dim lighting.
What to Eat
Rico Burrito
Rico Burrito offers everyone's favorite Mexican dishes to be eaten on the go. You can get things like burrito bowls, nachos, and burritos; what more could a girl ask for?
Dutch Pancakes
If the Dutch do anything right, its pancakes. These mini pancakes known as poffertjes are sweet, light and fluffy. Better yet, you can smother them in things like Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream, oh my.
The Mac Factory
I was really tempted to eat at the Mac Factory while I was at Camden Market. Their menu looks amazing, it's not just your average mac and cheese. Everything is made there, even down to the breadcrumbs.
Other Side Fried
I ate at Other Side Fried while at Camden Market, and I was not disappointed. The chicken and fries are fried to crispy perfection. I had to wait on a decent line, but it was totally worth my wait.
Cute Buns
I love steamed pork buns! Cute buns offer this Taiwanese street food to go. Now I can just get pork buns and not have to feel like I'm only eating an appetizer.
If you're anything like me, you're totally gonna get lost while in the market, but just make the most of it and appreciate everything there is to see. Make sure you come with full pockets and an empty stomach.
