"Fallout 4" was released Nov. 10, 2015, and since even before its release, it left many gamers astounded and excited to play it.
Bethesda Software is one of my favorite gaming developers. They devote mass amounts of time to creating great games such as the "Elder Scrolls" saga and the "Fallout" series.
I'm a huge fan of the "Elder Scrolls" series. Having entered the series with the fourth game, "Oblivion," I was amazed and awed by the vast world Bethesda had created. When "Skyrim" came out in five years ago, I found myself enveloped in the even larger and beautiful world created. I loved being able to do all the things you couldn't in "Oblivion," such as turn into a werewolf, a vampire monster, or build a house with a few pre-made options .
I didn't think games could get better than that. Then I played "Fallout 4."
My first adventure in the wasteland stared with Obsidian's "Fallout: New Vegas," the first entry in the series developed by another studio after the rights were bought out from another studio.
I liked "Fallout:NV up until its non open ended ending. The Californian wasteland was pretty cool but in the end it was for me a less than memorable game.
When Fallout 4 was announced I didn't think much of it but when I saw the trailer revealing the beautiful wastelands of Boston I was in awe at how key landmarks had changed, like how Fenway Park houses a stadium within the city.
I didn't think this game would join the ranks of Skyrim on my list of favorite's but it has and as exceeded my expectation. Taking a page from the Elder Scrolls series players can do more then what they could in Skyrim. Players can build homes from scratch not using presets and can manage settlements and disperse followers.
The world is vast and the dialogue options seem endless. The weapon and armor choices are diverse and the followers you can have make traveling through the wasteland exciting. I've not played many jaw dropping games but Bethesda has done many gamer's proud and created yet another astounding game.
