Last week I showed my Health folder, Jobs folder, Lifestyle folder, and Monies Folder. This week we get into the good stuff with Movies, Music, Photography and School folders.

Let's jump right in with my Movies folder! In this folder, we have:
Amazon Prime Video - Which is the video player for Amazon Prime
Cinemark - Which is the app for Cinemark movie theaters
Fandango - Which I use to check movie times and sometimes buy tickets
Hulu - Which is one of my favorite streaming services.
IMDB - Because I am a nerd and every time I see someone in a movie or a TV show that makes me say, "Who IS that?" I have to look it up.
Reelgood - Which helps you find new movies to watch
Regal - The Regal app
RunPee - Which tells you when the best times to go to the bathroom during a movie.
Trailers - Pretty self-explanatory
TV Listings - A TV Guide app I use when I'm at home to check when shows are on
TV Time - Which is a check-in app for when you're watching shows
Apple TV - Which is an app I refuse to get rid of because I might actually need it some day.

The next folder is my Music Folder! In this folder I have:
106.5 The End - Which is the app for my favorite local radio station
8tracks - Which is one of my all-time favorite music apps.
AmazonMusic - The Amazon Prime music app
iHeartAuto - Which is iHeartRadio but designed for car trips and uses less data
Apple Music - Which I don't really use, but won't delete
Pandora - Another streaming app
iHeartRadio - I use this to listen to different radio stations that aren't local
Spotify - Another one of my all-time favorite music apps
Tabs - Which I use for when I'm learning a new song on the piano since I play chords.
Bandsintown - Which basically lets you know when any of your favorite bands are going to play a show near you
Lyrically - For when I need to look up song lyrics
Music Memos - For when I want to quickly record something
Songbook DB - Which is the app that the karaoke place I go to uses to look up and request songs
Soundhound - For when I don't know a song but like it... I can let it listen to it, identify it, and add the song to a Spotify playlist.

8tracks.com and the 8tracks app are a music streaming website and app that let you listen to user created playlists depending on your mood or your activity. For instance, if you are studying you can search for "Studying" and it will come up with a ton of user created playlists. If you want to throw it back to the Nineties, you can search for "90s" or "throwback" and it will bring up a ton of 90s playlists. The cool thing about 8tracks is that it's all user created. One of my least favorite things about 8tracks is that they limit your listening per week unless you pay for a yearly subscription, which is only $25 so it's totally worth it to just buy a subscription.

My next folder is Photography! In this folder I have:
Boomerang - An Instagram app
Standard Camera App
INSTFIT - Which helps your photos fit into Instagram
Instagram - My go-to photo sharing app
Layout - Instagram's collage app (which helped me create these photos)
LetterGlow, Over, Retrica, VSCO - Photo editing apps
Photos

Finally I have my School Folder:
BeFocused, Forest, and FocusNow are all apps that help me stay focused and OFF MY PHONE when I'm studying.
Calculator, Exam Calc, and Percent Calculator are all apps that help me with math, calculating my final grade in a course, and calculating different percentages.
Docs, Gmail, and Google Calendar are apps that we use at Jessup to share with other students or faculty.
Jessup Life, My Jessup, Attend, MoodleMobile, Rec*It, and HvZ Source are apps and websites we use at Jessup to share information or help with classes and extra curricular activities.
Canvas and Outlook are apps I use for my summer classes at a community college nearby.
myHomework and Socratic are homework helpers.

I hope you enjoyed this installment of What's on my iPhone 6s! Come back next week for the final installment where I show you the Shop, Social, Travel, and Videos folders on my phone!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
