The name alone should give you 'Goosebumps'! R. L. Stine introduced many 90's kids to the horror genre through his books and television show. Every time a kid picked up a Goosebumps book, they were transported into a whole different world filled with monsters, slime, aliens, and more. Each book told a different story. Some of the books were turned into movies or scripted for the television series.
But whatever happened to R. L. Stine. The simple answer is...nothing much. For the youngsters of the millennium, the stories kept coming. There were various offshoots of the Goosebumps franchise including, the Horrorland series of books which followed the terrifying exploits at a carnival known as Horrorland. R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour television show, which ended in 2014, was an hour long show that was reminiscent of the original Goosebumps television show. R. L. Stine has written well over 200 titles, including some for young adults and adults. However, he is best known for the Goosebumps series. Keep a look out for new titles for both children and adults!
My favorite Goosebumps book was The Curse of Camp Cold Lake. What was yours?
