It's the holiday season! Trees are up and stockings are hung, It seems that everyone is ready Christmas...well almost everyone....here's a list of 9.5 things to expect before Christmas day.
1. Shopping Frenzies: Everybody and their mamas are rushing to malls and outlets to get gifts for their friends and families. Lines are long and people dash through stores frantically hunting for the perfect gift. It doesn't help that Bath and Body Works
2.Running low on funds: After you've finished buying gifts for your friends and family, it's only natural that you treat yourself to a little something. Maybe you fancy Chipotle or just a little snack, regardless of what you want you most likely can't afford it.
3.Christmas music: Whether or not your roasting chestnuts on an open fire, bragging about all you want for Christmas, or even worrying about when Santa Claus is coming to town, your favourite Christmas tunes will be playing...on repeat.
4.Traffic: If you thought the lines at the stores were long, you need to think again. The lines to get to the lines are even longer, expect traffic from every direction. There will be traffic from the airport, traffic at the mall, and traffic on your way home. People are going and coming home for the holidays while others are hustling to shop while supplies last. Going anywhere will never be a simple task.
5. Christmas movies: You're likely to see Home Alone one and two, one hundred and two times before Christmas. Of course, the classic holiday movies will be showing such as Frosty the Snowman and a Charlie Brown Christmas. Enjoy all the movies before you get sick of them.
6.Snow: Whether it be a soft snowfall or a blizzard, during the winter you are bound to have some snow. Living in a winter wonderland has pros and cons. Many people enjoy being outside in the snow, throwing snowballs and building snowmen. While others dread the cold and tire themselves shovelling snow for hours to have it snow all over again.
7.Family: Relatives gather for the holidays to be in each other's embrace. Celebrating Christmas with the fam is tradition and fun. Some families throw parties while others keep to themselves. Whatever they choose they do it together.
8. New Years Eve decorations: When you thought Christmas decorations were being sold early, but now you are seeing 2017 balloons around stores.
9.Food: Gingerbread, Milk and cookies are holiday favourites. Christmas dinner with your family may include Yams and turkey but especially mac and cheese. It's thanksgiving all over again.
