Have you ever seen any good movie that features an excellent main character? The main character in that film might have done something funny or memorable to make the movie excellent. You recognize that talent and want to keep track of that actor in the next roles that he or she plays in; however, when you keep your eyes and ears tuned to move trailers that are circulating the web and previews in cinemas, you do not see them featured.

Surely there are hundreds if not thousands of actors and celebrities that are in Hollywood, but there are some key performers that have good movies and just vanish from the spotlight. Here is a short list of these actors and what they are doing now.

1) Brendan Fraser

The original star of the "Mummy" franchise, Fraser is known for his roles in "George of the Jungle," "Crash," and "Gods and Monsters." Fraser is known for his funny gestures and action-packed roles. In 2008, he had a really awful divorce with his former wife and actress Afton Smith that put a strain on his personal life. Originally Afton wanted Fraser to pay $900,000 in child support every year, but in 2013, Fraser petitioned the courts for a reduction of alimony payments. Recently Fraser has starred as background roles in lesser known movies, but it seems that his career will make a comeback since he has some movies lined up in 2017 for post-production: "The Field" and "Behind the Curtain of Night."

2) Kal Penn

After playing stoner roles in "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," "Van Wilder," and on the TV show "House," Penn accepted an offer to work under the Obama Administration as an Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. He starred in other minor roles since then, but will be returning to television in the ABC drama series "Designated Survivor."

3) Josh Hartnett

Hartnett had roles in "Black Hawk Down," "Pearl Harbor," and "Thirty Days of Night." However, Hartnett decided to take a break due to being overwhelmed by fame. Recently, he and his girlfriend had a child and nowadays he has joined a lot of political causes.

4) Cameron Diaz

This might be a surprising one on the list because she has had a recent movie, "Annie," released in 2014. Diaz is known for voicing Fiona in "Shrek," "The Mask," "There's Something About Mary" and "My Best Friend's Wedding." The reason why you don't see her in film anymore is that she has been busy. She has recently published two books, "The Body Book: Feed, Move, Understand and Love Your Amazing Body” and “The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time.” Perhaps she will return to the spotlight, but it is not surprising to hear that she wants a break from all of this.

Hopefully, these stars will make a return to the big screen someday. When that happens, be sure to see them perform in film.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
