When tragedy happens, it's hard to know what to do. We are so far removed from a lot of these things that it becomes difficult to find a place to make a difference in the situation.

Start small by being aware of how you speak and interact with other people. Make sure your words are kind and uplifting. It's been said that actions speak louder than words, so maybe we should give that a shot.

Start small. Start by showing everyone that you meet that they are worth your time and attention. Show them that you care more than they think you do.
