What To Do Before and After Your 21st

Making the Best of Your Legal Birthdate is Everyone's Wish and This Is One Way You Can Do That

What To Do Before and After Your 21st

Its an exciting time in your life to finally be of legal age to drink alcohol. I recently have also turned 21 and as a result I had a very fun time in my experience of turning 21 but there were some things that I wish I could have done to make the time worth it even more. What I mean by this is why not create a list of things to do before your 21st birthday and what to do in the days after your birthday such as places you probably couldn't go if you weren't 21 and places to go once you do turn 21.

Why create a list like this? In my opinion, there were some things I wish I would've done in the time before I had turned of age and the reason for that is these were things that I had wanted to do when I was younger and had never gotten the chance to do them. It was also because some of the things that I wanted to do included going to places where I wasn't of age yet and finally being able to go now because I had just turned 21 such as the casino.

My advice to people who are approaching the big legal year is to make a list where you pick what you want to do before you turn 21 and what you want to do for after you turn 21 such as going on your favorite roller coaster at Six Flags or going to a bar you've always wanted to go to but couldn't until now. A couple of the things I probably would have put on my list for having to do before the big day would of been learning how to play good hands in card dealing and going on my favorite roller coaster and the things that I would have added to list that would have been done after I had turned 21 would have been making the annual "Erin Express" which is a trip to all the bars in the neighborhood where I live in and also a planned trip with a hotel stay in Atlantic City where me and my friends who were also 21 could stay and go to the casino.

These are just some of the things that I would have done that could have made my time before and after turning 21 a little more exciting. My 21st celebrations were in fact exciting but my advice to others who are about to turn the same age is that you should make a list where all of the things you wish to do are on it and this would give you things to do that can make your celebrations all the more worth celebrating. A list may seem pointless but looking back on what I made of my own birthday I understand that they are now worth making and planning out for your own benefit. The more you add to the list for later on is also another factor to which you can consider such as the time frame of your celebrations or when you want to do particular events.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
