What is the definition of beauty?
Is it a certain feature on a being's face or a specific curve to their body? The beauty I'm referring to is human beauty, and more specifically the beauty a woman thinks she possesses or lacks.
The beauty of a woman is not satisfied by one definition. It is never satisfied, because humans are always striving for more beauty. But, perfection is the only way to bring beauty to its full potential, and that is an unattainable standard.
"What does it mean to be truly beautiful?" This is a question thousands of women ask themselves in times of insecurity and also in confidence.
The preference of our imperfect souls is the answer.
One might say the slight upturning of a woman's eyebrows cause her to be striking, but another may say the color of her eyes lets him lose himself completely in them. Features on the body or face can strike you, whether it be for better or for worse.
Beyonce and Jennifer Aniston are both considered very beautiful women in our society. However, the only physical attribute that they hold in common is the fact that they are female. They are of different races, hair color and eye color. How do they fit in the same slim category of beauty then? How do these two very different women, hold a candle to the other?
Beauty isn't about a certain feature a woman has. It's a creative word God decided to place into creation to describe a being who pleases the eye of their beholder. A flaw can be found on any "beautiful" human being, but beauty is found when you look deeper.
It's not difficult, men, to look past the many fronts and traps. Scratch that. It is extremely difficult because in a woman's effort to play the beautiful damsel, she masks what truly makes her shine.
What is that?
Ah, but that's the mystery a man must venture. Women impatiently give love to those unwilling to receive it. She doesn't realize that she is beautiful, because no one has ever told her. Why has no one told her? She hasn't met the right beholder to unmask her beauty.
