We've all been there — whether it's drunk food or a late night study snack, here's what that 2 a.m. food choice says about you.
1. Christian's Pizza
2. A tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream
It's one of those nights. One of those watch-sappy-movies-all-night kind of nights, and maybe even a girls (or guys) night in. It's time to share stories and cry a little bit — and that's where the giant tub of ice cream comes in. Treat yo'self.
3. Little John's
You're someone who sticks to what they know, and you're probably not too adventurous, at least not with your food choices. You've got your classic Little John's order down; but you also know that a late night out is not complete without some greasy, mouth-watering, and delicious Little John's.
4. Cook-Out
What's college without those late-night Cook-Out runs? Whether you discovered Cook-Out here, or it has already been a staple in your 2 a.m. diet, you're always down to go for an adventure — maybe you'll even try a new milkshake flavor combination this time.
5. Ramen or Easy Mac
Something must've happened tonight — maybe it was just a rough time or maybe you got a little too drunk, but this late night hit you hard. Exhausted and hungry, microwaving up some cup noodle or easy mac is the way to go. When you somehow got home, your eyes are barely open; but you could care less, and you just need food in your system right now.
6. The Castle or Crossroads
You wouldn't be eating here unless you're a first year, and there's multiple reasons why you might be. Maybe it's just one of those post-Clem nights, where you just gave up on work to get food. Or if you went out, you're likely making a mad rush to get there before meal exchange ends.
7. Something healthy. Carrot or celery sticks, perhaps.
Props to you for actually caring about what you're putting into your body at this late hour. You know the feeling of waking up in the morning having eaten all that pizza or ramen (never again), and now you know — carrot sticks and hummus it is. But hey, you're going to be up and ready, and hopefully not too hungover in the morning.
Next time your stomach is rumbling at 2 a.m., maybe you should reconsider what you're eating. Or maybe not. That essentially defeats the purpose of 2 a.m. food anyway.
