The Days Of The Week, As Ice Cream Flavors

A fun way to describe your day is to describe it as Ice Cream.

The Days Of The Week, As Ice Cream Flavors

Everyone has their favorite days of the week and days that they look forward to, just as they have favorite flavors of ice cream. Ice cream is loved and cherished by all but especially me! So I figured that ice cream could be a fun way to describe how we feel about certain days and our overall thoughts.

1. Sunday: Chocolate Chip

Chocolate chip is fitting for this day because it is a safe traditional flavor. It is filled with the happiness of chocolate chip surprises because it is still technically the weekend but that plain, boring vanilla reminds us that the dreaded Monday is coming.

2. Monday: Vanilla

This flavor is fitting because no one wants to spend their money on something so simple and boring, just like no one enjoys Monday. Unless it is a government holiday or if the vanilla ice cream is on sale.

3. Tuesday: Chocolate

Tuesday is only so far removed from Monday and therefore it"s flavor can't be filled with too many treats or excitement. So a happy rich and creamy chocolate ice cream describes our Tuesday because it has more flavor being removed from Monday and chocolate is always good!

4. Wednesday: Moose Tracks

It's fairly obvious why, Moose Tracks because we trekking through trying to make it to that amazing weekend. And the tasty chocolate pieces and fudge swirls are just the thing to get us there.

5. Thursday: Oreo

Yeah, Thursday is annoying to me because I made it through Wednesday only to have two more days between me and my weekend so that is why our Thursday is surrounded in vanilla. However, it's also two days from the weekend and so it deserves the wonderful gift that is oreos. (Love Oreos)!

6. Friday: Rainbow sherbet

Yeah I know it's not ice cream but it's cold and delicious. It's finally Friday and that means Rainbow sherbet because it's the end of the week so it deserves to be filled with a lot of flavors and happiness.

7. Saturday: Giant Sundae or Banana Split

It's not a flavor technically but my logic is sound. To the best day of the week it is the first full day of freedom from classes! That deserves ice cream of any flavor that makes you happy filled with all the delicious treats you can add to it. Because it's your weekend and you should have it your way!!

Now I don't know about you but after reading that I need to go on a much needed ice cream run!
