10 Songs You'll Find Me Dancing To At My Wedding, No compromises

I think it is safe to say that almost every single girl has dreamt about their perfect wedding since they could walk. For me, I always loved the idea of being able to spend the rest of my life with my absolute best friend. And while I have no idea who that person is yet, here are the top 10 songs I will have at my wedding. No compromises.

1. "Die A Happy Man" - Thomas Rhett

Hands down the very first song on my list has to be this amazing ode to living life with your best friend. It is how relationships should be. Material things shouldn't matter, as long as you've got each other.

Favorite Lyric: "You're a saint, you're a goddess, the cutest, the hottest, a masterpiece."

2. "Cinderella" - Steven Curtis Chapman

The first song I ever decided would be in my wedding when it was introduced to me in eighth grade. It will be a song I dance with my dad for. It makes me tear up every time.

Favorite Lyric: "Dad, I need you. There's a ball at the castle. And I've been invited. And I need to practice my dancing."

3. "Beautiful Crazy" - Luke Combs

What can I say? I know I am absolutely insane, and I know that I need someone to keep me grounded but love me for all of the craziness I pose.

Favorite Lyric: "Her day starts with a coffee and ends with a wine."

4. "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" - Iron & Wine

Despite being the absolute perfect ending to the teen drama that taught us girls about what a relationship shouldn't look like, the song itself is something so incredibly important to me. The song became my dad and my song throughout my high school years.

Favorite Lyric: "Now I'm a fat, house cat."

5. "From the Ground Up" - Dan + Shay

Self-explanatory. I really cannot wait to start a family. And call me traditional, but he better ask my dad first.

Favorite Lyric: "And I'll be the man your dad hoped that I'd be."

6. "Hold My Girl" - George Ezra

If a man can make time for me the way George Ezra makes time for his girl, he's got my heart in a second. (Just saying).

Favorite Lyric: "I've got time, I've got love. Got confidence you'll rise above. Give me a minute to hold my girl."

7. "Young And Beautiful" - Lana Del Ray

Marriage is for life, people. I really do not want to be part of that trending divorce rate right now, so you know.

Favorite Lyric: "Dear Lord, when I get to Heaven, please let me bring my man."

8. "Trumpets" - Jason Derulo

Just a jam, that is very necessary.

Favorite Lyric: "I wrote this song just looking at you oh, oh."

9. "Tear In My Heart" - Twenty One Pilots

I love Twenty One Pilots with all my heart. If they aren't present at my wedding, I would be the saddest human being alive.

Favorite Lyric: "I'm driving here I sit, cursing my government. For not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement."

10. "Loving You Easy" - Zac Brown Band

A happy little song about just living day to day, but the simple things are what make them fall incredibly in love with each other every time.

Favorite Lyric: "Hair's a mess but I don't care. No makeup on and shining so bright. My old sweatshirt never fit so right."

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
