Everybody knows that the growing amount of money owed by the U.S. Federal Government to foreign countries is a great concern. However, what can be done to reduce the amount of money spent in the first place?
1. Flush the toilet in the White House only once a month.
Water and plumbing are quite expensive, and measures must be taken to reduce water consumption.
2. Completely ignore the socially constructed idea of debt.
Money is simply a social construct designed to distract us from other more important issues.
3. Reduce the amount of money spent on rescuing Matt Damon.
Does that guy even know how much a typical mission to Mars or a wormhole costs?
4. Cut back on Obama's luxuries.
A man doesn't need an ice cream sandwich from the hawkers every time he strolls along the National Mall.
5. Replace Secret Service agents with bricks.
Bricks are extremely cheap, widely available, and just as deadly when thrown as a highly trained bodyguard.
6. Completely overhaul the presidential motorcade.
Tricycles do not consume gasoline and can transport the president to wherever he needs to go.
7. Ask Michelle Obama to use drug store perfume.
If you really use your imagination and put your heart to it, she may be willing. CVS is Paris.
8. Switch to GEICO.
Could switching to GEICO really save America from piling debt? Probably not, but at least the Obamas would save 15 percent or more on their car insurance.
