One realizes how great and kind-hearted Takeo is and I learn as an audience that love does not depend on appearances but depends on the person's heart.

This anime show, "My Love Story!!" or known as "Ore Monogatari," is a pure gem to watch. At first, the manga, on the shelves in a book store, has been eyeballing to me as well as its anime image on the internet but I have chosen to ignore them. I then realized that is really stupid of me. One summer, I decided to watch it with my younger sister when we were doing chores. Finally, I did and we love every minute of the anime. This anime that comes from the manga by Kazune Kawahara, depicts a big guy named Takeo who is never lucky with the girls unlike his best friend, Suna, who is lucky with the girls because of his good looks. However, after saving a girl named Yamato, Takeo tries to pair her up with Suna but Yamato confesses that she likes Takeo. Here are five reasons why you should watch this anime.

1. The awesome bromance

When looking at the anime image of "Ore Monogatari," I thought it will be another cliché love triangle between Takeo, Yamato, and Suna or that Suna is Takeo's rival for love and that Yamato likes Suna. Then, my assumptions were wrong after I watched the first few episodes. Takeo and Suna are best buddies. Although Suna is calm and intelligent, he always considers Takeo as his close friend. Apparently, Suna always rejects girls not because he does not like them but it is because they are always talking bad about Takeo and Suna does not like that. Takeo and Suna are always there for each other whatever circumstance they are in. They both really look after each other. Takeo even goes to Suna for love advice even though Suna has not been in a love relationship yet, which is very funny.

2. The colorful, adorable, and light-hearted animation

The best anime to watch in the summer time for me, especially that the anime has captured my heart through its lighthearted atmosphere that it creates. The colors are nice and bright to watch on the show. There are a lot of nice pastel colors in the animation especially in scenery, food, and clothing that which makes me so delighted and relaxed to watch every time. The characters are very adorable and diverse. They are not all the same. So each episode is really unexpected because of their unpredictable and great characters.

3. The short duration of anticipated love confession

Unlike all the shojo anime or any anime that I have watched, this anime does not take long for the heroine or someone to confess their feelings. Yamato confesses out her feelings to Takeo on episode three. Usually, shojo anime or any anime takes more than 10 episodes for the main couple to confess their feelings for each other. Now that the confession is out the way, it is fun to watch how this couple Yamato and Takeo are doing with their love relationship.

4. The theme Songs

The anime's opening song, "Mirakei Answer" by Trustrick, opens up with appearing colorful footsteps filling up the TV screen in a white background, which moves in sync with the song's twinkling instrumental sounds. One can also hear the singer singing like a young girl who hints that she is yearning and longing for love, with a tone of happiness and activeness. This is lovely to hear as well as the anime's ending song, "Shiawase No Arika" by Local Connect. After the episode ends, it immediately goes to this ending song which begins with electric-instrumental twinkling sounds that correspond to the animation's ending sequence of stars in a night sky. This then follows a low-tone male voice singing which shows out a hint of being timid and uncertain and then grows to a stronger and confident chorus.

5. The trio: Takeo, Yamato, and Suna

They say usually the main couple is what gets the audience's favor throughout the show, but for me, this show, it's the trio of these characters, Takeo, Yamato and Suna that motivates me to continue watching. Takeo and Yamato would not be able to be together if were not for Suna. For appreciation that Suna has helped them be together, Takeo and Yamato happily decided to make a beautiful cake for Suna in which he accepts. Yamato and Takeo will always include Suna in even though he does not want to be in their way of their relationship. Moreover, Yamato and Suna also help each other out whenever Takeo is concerned with something. In addition, Suna always comforts Takeo especially when Takeo thinks there is another boy is in love with Yamato. Yamato and Takeo also tries to help Suna to find him a girl to be with.

Also, these characters, Yamato and Suna, bring out the best of Takeo. One realizes how great and kind-hearted Takeo is and I learn as an audience that love does not depend on appearances but depends on the person's heart. Takeo indeed has a big heart when it comes to not only Yamato, but to his family and friends. Yamato too also possesses a big heart especially that she falls in love with a guy like Takeo while all the other girls prefer Suna. She is truly the one that really sees the best side of Takeo and is really in love with him. For Suna, he is really happy that Takeo has found someone like Yamato to love and he hopes to help, support them and protect their relationship from others. With these three characters, the anime is marvelous to watch!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
