The "Game of Thrones" series finale just premiered last week, which means it's sadly the end of one of the most viewed shows on HBO. The last episode alone earned more viewers then some shows can make in a year! According to CNN, the show earned a record of 19.3 million viewers. There were a lot of fans who were disappointed by the ending, but whether you hated the ending or loved it, any GOT fan will agree that they're now left looking for the next show to help them get over the series finale. Luckily, there are several different shows that may not completely replace "Game of Thrones" but can at least help fill up some time you have left over. Here are 8 different shows that you can watch after finishing the "Game Of Thrones" series.

1. "The Last Kingdom"

This is a great show to watch that's similar to "Game of Thrones"! The show focuses on the Danish warlord Earl Ragnar who captures a young boy after murdering his family when invading England. It's a British historical fiction, so while it doesn't include fantasy, it still includes similar ideas such as England being divided into seven kingdoms and warlords fighting to take over the throne.

2. "The Tudors"

If you love the scheming involved with royalty, you should definitely check out binge-watching this show! I actually started watching "The Tudors" before I discovered "Game of Thrones." The show focuses on King Henry VIII, who is notorious for beheading most of his wives. If you love "Game of Thrones" for its focus on fighting for power and for the throne, you should definitely check out watching this show.

3. "House of Cards"

Though this show may not be set in a medieval setting like the other show listed, it still contains a lot of politics and manipulation for fighting over power. Instead of being narrated around the power struggle among royals, "House of Cards" narrates politicians finding manipulative ways to gain power. It includes many themes that brought fans to enjoy "Game of Thrones," so it's a good show to watch if you need something to binge-watch.

4. "Westworld"

This show may not be the same as "Game of Thrones," but it still is another addicting show on HBO that can be fun to binge-watch! "Westworld" is a science fiction western that takes place in a technologically advanced Wild West-themed amusement park that is populated by androids known as "hosts." The androids are programmed with a given narrative filled with memories along with not being able to harm humans, and the humans that come to park have the freedom to do whatever they want to the androids. The concept may sound weird, but the show has actually received tons of praise from viewers and critics. It also has a focus on corruption within power and the show can be intense to watch.

5. "Vikings"

This is another show that is similar to "Game of Thrones" and includes a small amount of fantasy. The show "Vikings" introduces viewers to the world of Ragnar Lothbrok, who is a Viking warrior and farmer that wishes to explore the ocean. He teams up with friend Floki to craft ships to conquer the northern seas. The show includes fantasy through having gods that are in human form. Plus, if you loved Jason Momoa as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" season one, you'll love to know that he plays one of the characters in this series!

6. "The White Queen/Princess"

This is another show you should check out if you enjoy watching others fight for power or for the throne. It focuses on the House of York and House of Lancaster fighting for England's throne. It takes place before King Henry VIII came around, and it's a great show to watch if you love watching a power struggle over a kingdom!

7. "The 100"

Another show that's good to see is "The 100," which is a sci-fi that takes place on Earth 100 years after a nuclear bomb explosion fills the planet with radiation. A group of people from Earth had escaped the planet before the explosion on a spaceship that was created to keep the people alive to wait for the planet to be habitable again. They send 100 teenagers who have been prisoners on the ship to the planet to see if it is habitable. The first three episodes may seem ridiculous, however, after the third episode, the show becomes extremely intense and addicting.

8. "Outlander"

"Outlander" is a time-traveling romantic fantasy series set in the 18th century in Scotland. Even if you're not a huge fan of romance, you'll still enjoy this show since it features a lot of scenes involving fighting against England and backstabbing. There are also a lot of characters who are corrupt similar to the villains featured in "Game of Thrones." If you enjoyed the setting in "Game of Thrones" along with the elements of fantasy, you should consider watching this series.

If you start feeling depressed over "Game of Thrones" ending, you should check out any one of these eight shows! There are also a lot of other great shows that aren't included on this list. So instead of spending the summer sulking over the end of "Game of Thrones," you should start looking for a new series that will keep you occupied for the rest of the summer.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
