5 Fun Warm Weather Things To Do In Central Virginia

Warm weather is finally here. Below are 5 fun warm weather things to do in warm weather in Central Virginia.

1. Go hiking


There are so many fun places to go hiking in Virginia. The beautiful weather and scenery make for a great time. Check out The Peaks of Otter.2.

2. Ride Bikes

Riding bikes is a personal favorite of mine. Rent a bike or bring your own and enjoy the breeze and scenery. Plus, biking is great if you have joint problems.

My recommendations are the High Bridge Trail and Blackwater Creek Trail.

3. Have a picnic


Pick up food from your favorite restaurant, or make it yourself, bring a blanket and find a beautiful spot. The places listed above are perfect picnic spots.

4. Road Trip

Somewhere close you haven’t visited yet? Roll down the windows, turn up the music, and explore. Roanoke, Richmond, and Appomattox are fun places to visit

5. Pick fresh fruit

There's a strawberry farm near my house, and going there is always fun. The strawberries are delicious and the people are so friendly. Saunders Brothers Farms and C&S Farms in Appomattox are my recommendations.

Grab some friends or family and enjoy the beautiful weather. Get out of the house or your dorm, breathe in the fresh air, and have a great time!
