6 Times That We Wanted To Be Wednesday Addams

She is the queen of mystery and sarcasm.

1. When she told her brother that he had to die since their parents were having a new baby.

It's the ultimate prank. If you ever want to mess with your little sibling, here's a prime way to do it. The two of them always are chasing each other around with knives (yikes) and trying to kill each other (literally), but if you don't want to take it that far, just tell your sibling something that will scare them (and probably make them cry or scar them for life.) If you have a sibling, we've all wanted to mess with their head at some point.

2. When she said "homicide" was the one thing on her mind.

Wednesday is the queen of sarcasm, although she was probably serious when she said this. A perky mother asks her if boys were the one thing on her mind at her age and Wednesday replies with "Homicide." She just doesn't feel like giving some people the time of day, and she isn't obligated to.

3. When Wednesday was fed up with the perky blonde know-it-all.

Have you ever met a person that you just couldn't stand? Something about them just got totally underneath your skin and you couldn't even look at them without getting annoyed? Wednesday gets that. Every time that this blonde girl said something snarky to Wednesday, she was prepared to throw something back that was 10x worse and more than likely fairly morbid. When this girl volunteers to be the drowning victim and goes underwater, Wednesday promptly replies "I can't swim." Cold, Wednesday. But somehow so kick-ass.

4. When she said "I'm not perky."

Wednesday doesn't feel the need to impress anybody. She knows that she's not perky and she isn't bothered with acting like it. She does, however, follow this phrase with "but I want to be." and fakes a smile. But, this is only to carry out an ultimate revenge plan upon all of the perky blondes and her camp counselors. We've all had a day when we just don't care about niceties. We aren't always perky, so why should we pretend? It's exhausting.

5. When Wednesday decided that she wanted to make her own story instead of following orders from her camp counselor.

After being forced to play Pocahontas in Gary's play, everyone thought Wednesday became a "normal" girl. Little did they know that she was so fed up with their trying to change her that she had the ultimate plot twist in mind. Instead of her tribe eating with the pilgrims, she was going to punish them. Not only for the wrongs they had done to her personally, but also for the wrongs done to Native Americans during present day. "We can not break bread with you. You have taken the land which is rightfully ours. Years from now my people will be forced to live in mobile homes on reservations. Your people will wear cardigans, and drink highballs. We will sell our bracelets by the road sides, and you will play golf. My people will have pain and degradation. Your people will have stick shifts. The gods of my tribe have spoken. They said do not trust the pilgrims...For all these reasons I have decided to scalp you and burn your village to the ground." I hate when people think they can control me too. Go Wednesday!

6. When she captured her camp leaders and put them on a rotisserie.

Sometimes people drive you so crazy that you have to do something about it. And sometimes the thing you have to do is put those people over an open fire. Just kidding, but Wednesday could resort to much worse things if she wanted to exact her revenge on you. Don't ever try to make this girl act like something she's not or else you'll have hell to pay.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
