It started out as some mystery show, but slowly these five girls stole a place in our lives. So let's recap on what went down these last 7 years. Get comfortable, grab a snack because it's about to go down.

Let's jump right into season 1, so as we know this is when A made her appearance the very first episode. It's been 1 year since the queen bee, Alison DiLaurentis, went missing, leaving the four girls by themselves. Aria Montgomery just returned from Iceland with her family, jumping right into a steamy relationship with Ezra Fitz (later known as Mr. Fitz the English teacher!). Hanna Marin becomes the new "it" girl, her and Mona Vanderwaal completely took over Rosewood High, but that's not the only thing Hanna was taking... she was busted for shoplifting. Emily Fields meets Maya in the pilot episode starting their love affair, while Spencer Hastings is drooling over her sister's fiance Wren. After Alison disappeared the girls drifted apart until a spine shivering text from none other than A was sent to the four of them. They assumed it was just Alison, but a shocking discovery happened, Alison's body was dug up behind the DiLaurentis house. Removing Alison's name off the A-list the girls begin digging to find ideas on who could be behind this. The girls immediately think Jenna Marshall's stepbrother, Toby Cavanaugh is behind this because he took the blame for the Jenna Thing. Emily began getting close with Toby, which crossed him off the list. Later on, the girls found out Alison was meeting Ian Thomas the night she went missing. Ian approached Spencer at church, in the bell tower he tries to kill Spencer when an unknown person pushes him out of the bell tower. (Intense I know!)

It's a lot of information, bare with me. It only gets better, ready for season 2? I know I am! This season picks up right where season 1 left off. Ian Thomas was found dead and the murder of Alison was pinned on him. Later to find out he was not Alison's killer. The girls needed to keep their friendship a secret because they were forced to go to therapy. They didn't think they could open up the Dr. Sulivane about A. But later on, they decide to open up to her about A when Dr. Sulivane is about to crack the case she's mysteriously taken, as A planned. The girls found A's lair and soon discovered Mona was A, she was then admitted to Radley. Later that evening, Maya was found dead in town.

Season 3! In this season Garrett Reynolds is addressed on whether or not he killed Maya. Then the show starts picking up, revealing Toby being on the A-team. (Didn't see that one coming). This is the season where we are introduced to Cece Drake, a sister-like figure to Alison. Spencer soon discovers information about Toby sending her down a not so good path, it's not until Mona fakes Toby's death that sends Spencer off the edge, having her admitted to Radley. Mona then approaches Spencer asking her to join the A-team, Spencer, who is only looking for answers, agrees to join. Spencer is released from Radley, working with Mona and A to set up a party for Red Coat (known to be the A-team leader) to meet with the girls. During the party, Spencer and Toby are in the woods waiting for Red Coat and the girls are in the lodge. Suddenly the girls found themselves trapped inside when a fire started, Hanna's fuzzy memory keeps telling her that she saw Alison pull them all out of the fire.

The beginning of season 4 is all about who killed Detective Wilden. Hanna's mother is at the top of that list leading her to be arrested. Hanna tries to deal with her mother being in jail and finding out who A is so she can figure out who Detective Wilden's real murderer is. The girls soon find a connection between Alison and Ravenswood, believing she's still alive the girls rush to Ravenswood, where Emily gets trapped in a box in a sawmill. The girls notice Red Coat running to the sawmill and saving Emily. Soon they discover another Red Coat, later unmasked as Cece Drake. Red Coat leads them to an apartment they suspect to be one of A's lairs. The girls soon believe Ezra might be A, and Aria cuts things off with him when she finds out he was writing a book about Alison. Later on, the girls agree to volunteer for a fashion show at the DiLaurentis house, the girls snuck up to Alison's old bedroom looking for clues to lead them to her. They called the number they found on a post-it in her bedroom. Alison calls them back telling them to meet her in Philadelphia. During the time in Philadelphia, the girls are cornered at gunpoint on the rooftop by a black hooded person, Ezra takes the bullet to protect the girls.

Now that Alison is back in season 5, the girls try to live a life without A. They think A is long gone after Aria shot Shana in New York (Shana was trying to kill all the girls, Aria shot her) to save the girls lives. But they were in for a rude awakening when the Cavanaugh house was blown up. Aria begins volunteering at Radley to find information about Bethany Young, the girl that was buried in Alison's grave. The girls start questioning if Alison is telling the truth about her whereabouts for the last 2 years. The girls stopped trusting Alison when she couldn't pick who her kidnapper was in a lineup. At this point, Mona comes to the girls telling them she thinks Alison is A. In the middle of this chaos, Mona is found dead, Hanna is then arrested for her death after police found Hanna's blood on Mona's sweater. Alison is soon arrested for Mona's murder with the girls being accessories, on the way to the prison the girls are taken and Aria, Emily, Spencer, and Hanna awake in the dollhouse lair. Each of their rooms is identical to their real rooms. When they were released from their bedrooms they realized Mona was there too. During their time in the dollhouse, Spencer learns that A is Charles, Alison's oldest brother. (Nailbiter!!!)

Season 6 is the story about Cece Drake and the reveal of A. The girls escape the Dollhouse and try to find clues that will lead them to Charles. Alison's dad told her there was no one by that name in their family. Alison and her brother Jason soon discover they did have a big brother, their father confesses that Charles wanted to hurt Alison when she was a baby so they had him committed to Radley but died at age 16 leaving Jason and Alison upset. It's later announced that the girls are banned from prom, they still show up to catch Alison before she meets up Charles. Shortly after Alison approaches Charles, she's kidnapped by Charles, leading the girls to A's lair. They see on live feed Alison and the unmasking of Charles, who reveals to be Cece Drake, and in this moment Cece starts telling her story. How Jennifer DiLaurentis came to visit him and when Cece wanted to transition to a girl, Mrs. DiLaurentis was right there. Charles became Charlotte, she confessed to all the events that happened, Wilden's death, the New York incident, and even burning down the lodge. She said she did all those things to grow closer to her family. She thought the liars were happy about Alison's death, so she made them suffer. She couldn't stop the game she grew obsessed. After this confession, Charlotte ran to the roof to commit suicide. The girls talked her down from the ledge and she declared the game over. The season then fasts forward 5 years, where each girl receives a letter from Alison, explaining how Charlotte has been in a hospital getting the right treatment. The letter goes on asking the girls to come back to town to speak on behalf of Charlotte the girls, hesitant, agreed. Charlotte was released and that night she was murdered. Alison ended up with Charlotte's doctor, Rollins, (Charlotte and he were in love), but he had other motives. He was out to kill Alison and take all her money because it was what Charlotte would've wanted. He tricked her into thinking she was crazy and had her committed to a mental hospital.

In the last season, it picks up with Hanna being taken by A.D. and the girls looking for the killer of Charlotte or else Hanna dies. They find evidence that seems to point at Alison when they hand the evidence over to A.D., Alison begins to get tortured in the mental hospital. Later Alison escapes the hospital, getting chased in the woods by Rollins. Hanna suddenly hits him, sending him through the windshield. Frantically the girls start burying him. They plant his car at the train station making it seem like Rollins left town. Hanna then got the theory that Noel could be A.D., so she kidnapped him and tortured him into confessing he who he was, but alas, he wasn't. A.D. then leads the girls to the blind school, where Alison, Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna were in a fight against Jenna and Noel. That night ended with Spencer getting shot and Mary Drake (Charlotte's birth mother) saving Spencer and confessing to her that she was also Spencers birth mother. The girls were presented with a board game labeled "Endgame," the game is doing what A.D. told them to do in order to win a puzzle piece to solve the game before it ends. Aria joined the A-team in hopes of saving the liars from whatever Uber A had up their sleeve. The police were onto the girls, having proof one of the liars used Rollins card the night he died. The girl began to panic, not knowing what to do. Mona confessed to killing Charlotte, winning the girls the last two pieces of the puzzle. Unlocking where Rollins body was buried, the girls rushed over to Aunt Carol's, then decided not to dig up the body. As they were leaving the police brought them in for questioning. Detective Tanner put them in a room and showed them Mary Drake confessing to killing Rollins, this leading to the girls' freedom.

We then fast-forward to a year later, where our little Aria was getting married to Ezra. If you think they're in the clear of A.D., you are very mistaken. During the wedding festivities, Hannah takes Mona under her wing. Mona is secretly working for A.D. and Spencer gets kidnapped. Mona confesses to working for the enemy to find out who they are. Spencer then wakes up in a small room with a hospital bed, looking through the glass at her reflection, she notices that that's not her reflection. She realizes this person looks identical to her (aka Alex Drake, Spencer's twin). Alex tells Spencer she was approached by Wren telling her she looks identical to his friend back home. Alex soon reaches out and meets Charlotte (her half sister). Learning about all the liars from Charlotte's perspective, Alex wants nothing more than to get in on the game also! So when Alex discovers Charlotte died, she continued out the game. Alex wanted to become Spencer, she wanted to be in the group. Spencer eventually got out and it was a sister-sister showdown. When the other liars found them in the dunker, it was Toby that figured out which twin was Spencer. Alex Drake was under arrest, as for the liars they went on to live pretty happy lives, Ezra and Aria are married, Alison and Emily are engaged with 2 babies, Spencer and Toby are together again, and Hanna and Caleb are married and expecting a baby. This show was a part of my life for 7 years and even though it's ended, I can't help but feel like I was a part of something great.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
