As summer is coming to close so is my first job as a waitress. I've had many good and some bad days but ultimately being a waitress has been a pretty decent summer job. You always have to take the good with the bad (and trust me some days can really suck) which has led me to develop a love/hate relationship with waitressing and here are some of the reasons why:
1. The customers
Many of the customers are great and you come to know the regulars but there are always those few customers who give you a difficult time.
2. The tips
Some days are better then others but I personally always made out pretty well (unless a few customers decided that they weren't going to tip me that day).
3. Side work
I absolutely hate doing side work but I mean which waiter/waitress doesn't.
4. Co-workers
I'm pretty easy going and got a long with all of my co-workers (we would always joke around to make time pass)
