The snooze button. We all know how equally appealing and evil it is, yet we hit it anyway. So for those of you who are tired of being slaves of your alarms, here are some alternatives.
Smart Alarm
This app prompts you to do a math problem or solve a dots puzzle to help wake you up. Turn off the snooze option in the settings and your mornings will start to look a lot different.
Plan Ahead
Try an overnight oat recipe or make a breakfast smoothie the night before. It’ll be easier to get out of bed if you have something delicious to look forward you.
Exercise
It may not seem like the first thing you want to do right after you wake up, but starting off the day with a run is great for you. It will also help you stay energized throughout the day.
Turn On the Radio
It’s hard to sit still when you hear your favorite song. Whether it’s Spotify, FM, or your iTunes library, music leads to dancing and dancing leads to a great day.
No matter what you try, stay away from that snooze button. By the time your alarm sounds again, you’ll have be drowsy and fatigued, which means your day will start slow.
