'Views' Review: GIF Edition

Drake just recently dropped the anticipated album "Views" on April 29, 2016. This is Drake's fourth solo album. The album is very creative with numerous amounts of flows. Even with this new album dropping Drake is expected to be dropping new music anytime soon. There seems to be so many mixed feelings about this album, some people were expecting so much more, and some people love every song. Here is my personal review of the album.

1. "Keep The Family Close"

The first time I heard this song, I instantly fell in love. I am more of a fan when Drake sings so, naturally, I loved this song. It kind of reminded me of a modern day "Marvin's Room" with how sad it made me. Drake decided to confess intimate thoughts as the intro and there is no problem with that. This song describes the way I have been feeling for a couple months so it literally hit home. Can we also talk about how the song sounds like an orchestra production? Love it.

2. "9"

After feeling sad with the intro song, Drake hits us with "9." Such a great song, one of my favorites on the album as well. I really like the flow but mainly everyone is going crazy about how "9" is "6" upside down.

3. “U With Me?”

Again, one of my favorites on the album; sorry, I am just a really big Drake fan. I really like how he sampled one of DMX’s classic songs “What These B****** Want” to start off the song. The flow switch at the ending of this song is sickening.

4. “Feel No Ways”

Not really a fan of this song, and it kind of has a "One Dance" vibe. But it also really puts you in your feelings. The beat is nice it reminded me of "808s and Heartbreak" by Kanye West.

5. “Hype”

The title really describes the song. The song reminds me of something that should be on "What a Time to be Alive." It is a banger with quotable lyrics. Also in this song he is taking subliminal shots at people...maybe, Meek Mill?

6. “Weston Road Flows”

I personally do not like this song in whole, but I do like the sample of Mary J. Blige's “Mary’s Joint." The song reminds me of how he rapped on "NWTS."I get a 90s summer vibe from this song.

7. “Redemption”

Slow classic. Another song the puts you in the feels. Personally this song messes with my head after putting me all in my feelings. Make sure you do not drink when you listen to this song or you will have a lot of drunk texts. “Redemption’s on your mind when you think about me.”

8. “With You” featuring PartyNextDoor

My favorite song on the album!!! I love it!! I love it!!! Drake hits us with a song about commitment after us feeling down and out with "Redemption.". PND and Drake killed this song with the secret Jeremih feature as well.

9. "Faithful" featuring Pimp C and dvsn

Another song that sounds so smooth. Pimp C's feature and then dvsn's feature at the end...just beautiful.

10. “Still Here”

The beat is actually pretty sick. Is it just me or does it sound like "Back to Back?" Definitely a song that you can get hype to.

11. "Controlla"

Definitely a song to dance to. But why did you take Popcaan off drake?!!! Still a good song but the disappearance of Popcaan is weird...

12. “One Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla

Love this song, slightly dancehall-inspired with a cool summer vibe. If you do not start dancing when this song comes on, something is wrong with you!

13. “Grammys” featuring Future

"What a Time to be Alive" vibe again, but being from Atlanta, and being a big Future fan, I was excited for this collaboration. The beat which is produced by Southside is a banger. I find this song kind of funny but still hype and I truly love Drake and Future's friendship. Even though this is not my favorite song by them, it is still likable. I can imagine Future smiling with his pearly whites through his whole verse.

14. “Childs Play”

The intro to this song though...LOL. Love this song, definitely a song you can "twerk" to. Again this song reminds of some of his old vibes, with some very funny lyrics:

"Why you gotta fight with me at Cheesecake? You know I love to go there, say I'm actin' light-skinned, I can't take you nowhere."

15. "Pop Style"

To me the song is likable, even though it sounds like plenty of songs that Drake has done before. The real question is what happened to Kanye and Jay Z features?

16. “Too Good” featuring Rihanna

We all know that Rihanna had to be featured on this album. This is personally not my favorite song by them but "Too Good” is definitely the sequel to “Take Care”.

17. “Summers Over Interlude”

Sexy, "Grown Folk" vibe...I can dig it.

18. “Fire & Desire”

Oh yes, I love this song. Definitely a sexy R&B song. Drake calms us down the the "Summers Over Interlude" and then leaves us with chills with "Fire & Desire," and I absolutely love it.

19. “Views”

I like the gospel themed intro-- reminded me of something off of "The Life of Pablo." The flow on the track reminds me of something on "NWTS" again. Serious Drake with subliminal lyrics, nothing wrong with that.

20. “Hotline Bling”

I guess Drake wanted to end this beautiful album with this classic. Even though now this song has been quite annoying recently, no one can deny that this song is still a banger. The song reminds me of "Headlines." And let us not forget the creative music video that came along with this song.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
